Ferragudo holiday apartment

I have been visiting the Algarve for over 10 yrs and this is one of the nicest apartments we have ever stayed in. It is spotlessly clean in a quiet residential block and provides all that you need for a great holiday. The terrace is huge and gets the sun all day.It is easy to walk to the beach in one direction and into the town in the other direction.It is a downhill walk to both locations so an uphill walk to return (but it is a leisurely walk as opposed to a slog.).
Our favorite restaurants in town were the Farragood and the O Barril which offer great fish and meat dishes with good service. The fish restaurants on the harbour front are pretty expensive. The beaches are clean with good bars and restaurants. The resort itself is very quiet ( May 08 ) so a hire car for trips out during the day is a good idea .
There is a large selection of books provided in the apartment to help pass the time whilst soaking up the sun on the terrace.
Eating in at the apartment is easy as there are butchers, greengrocers and mini markets within walking distance and the apartment has an easy to use cooker and dishwasher.There is constant hot water and oil filled radiators provided should you visit when the weather is not so warm. I would definately recommend this apartment to couples and groups of friends who can walk up two flights of stairs and don't require the use of a pool.
The owner provided great customer service and was very helpful.We were met as promised at the accomodation and the cleaner also visited during our stay.
