Recently fully refurbished, the apartment comprises a spacious sitting/dining room, kitchen, twin bedroom, bathroom and store room. The sitting room has a sofa bed which will comfortably sleep 2 small children or 1 adult. Outside there is a large balcony equipped with sun beds, table and chairs overlooking the resort with views of the sea. Amenities at Rocha Brava include a tennis centre, 3 pools (1 heated), small children's playground, health club and gymnasium. Close to the resort are several excellant restaurants and bars. The nearest beach (Centianes) and picturesque Vale de Mihlo golf course are only 10-15 minutes walk away. Other lovely beaches and sandy coves are within 5-10 mins drive.

• Spacious One bedroom Apartment, sleeps 2 comfortably. Bed-settee in living room for 2 children or 1 Adult. Cot or high chair can be hired at reception. Beach towels not provided.
  All prices INCLUDE Maid service 1 day per week plus change of linen and towels.
  
• ***SPRING / AUTUMN /WINTER BREAKS*** If you are interested in longer breaks over the low season periods, we can arrange this and offer a further discount on bookings over two weeks.

Rocha Brava

Rocha Brava resort is set in lovely grounds situated above the cliffs on the eastern side of Carvoeiro, a charming fishing village in the centre of the Algarve. It's facilities include a 24-hour reception office, a small supermarket and 3 leisure pools. There is also a cafe/bar with an Internet cafe upstairs, a restaurant and pool side bar. For sport there is a 4 court tennis centre with resident professional for coaching sessions and an adjoining health and fitness centre which incorporates a gym and offers aerobic and step exercise classes. For children there is a small playground and an indoor children's room with table tennis and organised activities in summer. Rocha Brava is the ideal base to explore the Algarve or take advantage of the many superb golf courses within the surrounding area.

Carvoeiro, Lagoa and Portemao

Carvoeiro is a small coastal fishing village just 3 miles from the Lagoa. It is wedged into a narrow valley with high red cliffs rising steeply and culminates in a tiny picturesque beach. The bright whitewashed houses and pretty cafe terraces lend an undeniable charm to the village. At night Carvoeiro boasts a wide choice of restaurants and bars, both lively and quiet depending on taste. It is only 20 - 25 mins walk from Rocha Brava, or 5 mins by car or taxi. Lagoa, just 4 miles from Rocha Brava is a small town but has some excellent shopping available. Just a short drive from Lagoa are two water slide parks. Within 20 mins drive is and a marine life park that includes children's rides. Lagoa is considered the wine capital of the Algarve and supplies most of the house wine served in Algarve restaurants. Tours of the local wineries can be arranged via the tourist office in Lagoa.

Golf & Travel Information

Vale de Milho, a picturesque but testing 9 hole par 3 course, is within easy walking distance or short drive. Two 18 hole courses - Vale de Pinta and Gramacho - are close to Carvoeiro (5kms). 10% to 20% discounts are available on green fees at most courses in the area. Championship courses are available at Penina (25 minutes) and Quinta de Lago (30 minutes). Many other courses are within 30 to 40 minutes drive. Rocha Brava is approximately 50 mins drive from Faro airport. A car is not essential, but useful for guests wanting to visit many of the more secluded beaches and coves along the coast either side of Rocha Brava, as well as the many other attractions along the Algarve. There is a frequent bus service for local travel between the nearby villages and taxis are inexpensive. Courtesy coaches are available for trips to the water splash parks.
