Views of the 14th fairway of Gramacho Golf Course from kitchen and 2nd bedroom, delightful views of the 18th fairway from the lounge/terrace and main en-suite bedroom. A tennis court and bowls green to the side of the property, the clubhouse/restaurant within 100m and if that’s not enough, just a stroll from the terrace to the communal pool that serves that exclusive apartment. The light and airy rooms include microwave, washing machine and dishwasher together with the usual extras for the terrace. Away from the hustle and bustle of some resorts Pestana Golf is situated between the old fishing town of Carvoeiro and Estombar and well situated to visit those beautiful Algarvian beaches with a backdrop of the Monchique mountains. The transfer from Faro to Pestana is now approx 45 minutes via the new motorway.

The town of Carvoeiro is just a short drive away and offers some excellent restaurants and bars to choose from. Pestana has a new supermarket open 7 days a week for those essential needs when taking an apartment holiday. Easy access to the Golf and only a walk to the David Leadbetter Academy.

Update 2008

The apartment has been up dated recently with a new wall fitted flat screen T.V and lounge suite. The pool area has also just had new sun beds and shades, which makes the time spent around the pool even more comfortable.We are very pleased with the positive comments left in the visitors book regarding the apartment, its facilities and the location. We have repeat bookings which is always a good sign. Our biggest surprise is the number of non-golfers booking to stay and using it as a base for their holiday on the Algarve.

Great For Family holiday

This is an excellent appartment and is ideally located, very peaceful and is a great location for people who are into golf. Situated on the ground floor is ideal for young family members and suitable for the older person. Pool area great. To see the sights you may need to hire a car, but if you just would like to relax and unwind then shop, club all in walking distance. Owner of property great with his communications. Only one thing i would say that I think it mentions a double bed!! However there's not??

Facilities in the appartment are modern, clean and ideal especially with having the en suite batharoom in the msater room. Seating area and dining area all good. Kitchen has all the mod cons.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities

stayed here 3 times - says it all!

We've had 3 great stays at this appartment with our teenage children - exactly as in the photographs and always spotlessly clean on our arrival. Near the clubhouse, but not too near; perfectly located in relation to the sun; terrace great for relaxing views of golfers making their way up the 18th fairway. (Course at Gramacho beautifully landscaped, manageable for high handicappers , yet challenging enough off single figures; excellent practice range 2 mins away by car.) Malcolm & Andy good to deal with and no problem getting keys from reception (or from security staff on one occasion when arriving at 10pm). 5 min drive to large supermarket; 10 mins to Carvoiero (seaside village - tiny Indian restaurant well worth a visit for good food and even better service...) Aquapark and plenty of sightseeing & beaches nearby. Alvor in the evening sun worth the short drive (lots of well priced restaurants there too). No hesitation in recommending this appt. - hope to return ourselves.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Great for young families

We stayed at the apartment for 2 weeks in September and would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay with small children. We travelled with our 18 month old and was great being on the ground floor and having lots of garden all around the apartment for him to run around. The location is v peaceful and we were the only ones at the pool most days. It has a shallow childrens part that is sectioned off which was handy. The apartment was well equipped for young families, has plenty of room and feels safe. It was handy having the grocery store being walking distance and supermarkets are about a 5 min drive. The local beaches were perfect for young children - v clean and good facilities. We plan to go back later this year and stay at the same place.
