Ferragudo Village:
The village will provide for all your needs, whether you prefer to eat in or out of your holiday home. The local produce from the village butcher, fish market, bakery and Mini markets are delightful and offer excellent value. For those that prefer to enjoy the delights of eating out; the location, selection and quality of the various village restaurants is second to none. All clients are able to enjoy the Vila Castelo outdoor heated swimming pool with poolside restaurant/bar serving hot and cold snacks during the day (restaurant only open in Summer months).
Activities and Entertainment for all the Family :
Within easy access are zoos, marine parks, aqua fun parks, diving, fishing, wind surfing, sailing, and a tennis centre with gymnasium. For walkers there are attractive coastal cliff top pathways as well as great inland walks. The beaches at Ferragudo are a favourite place for windsurfers and provide a superb spot for sunbathing, swimming, children’s activities or simply sitting in one of the excellent restaurants and whiling away the time watching cruise liners anchor off shore, or the many pleasure boats that ply the coastline.

Getting to Ferragudo:
Transfer from Faro airport is a simple journey of just 45 minutes by car or taxi. A taxi transfer can be arranged if you require. Hiring a car is by no means essential. However, if you do, it can be collected at the airport on your arrival and with a simple journey to Ferragudo, will enable you to take full advantage of the beauty of this lovely area. Information on hiring a car in Portugal directly from the UK, or details on low cost airline flights to Faro International airport, are available on request.
Golf:
The Algarve is a golfer's paradise. the Town House is located just 5 minutes drive from Pinta and Gramacho courses at Carvoeiro and only 10 minutes away from the famous championship courses at Penina. A stay at our House can combine a number of rounds of golf whilst enjoying the many benefits of a beach front location. With its heated swimming pool and village environment, this Town House provides a restful retreat in between golf or a relaxing holiday for non-players. The Vila Castelo reception are able to offer discounted green fees and enable residents the flexibility to book any course in the Algarve.
