The villa stands on its own plot in the quiet location of Arieas Dos Moinhos. It has a private heated pool with sun terrace, shower, built in BBQ, tiled raised patio with seats, table and sun loungers and a roof terrace. It offers 3 bedrooms 2 with ensuite and a main newly fitted bathroom. 2 Z-beds and a double sofa bed to comfortably accommodate 8 people. Also available are free use of a cot, high chair, DVD player and films, CD player with Cd's and IPOD input, satellite TV, telephone, iron & hairdryer. New fitted kitchen includes cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher & washing machine. Just added is free Wireless Internet access for those with a laptop. Outside there is a pool slide, water toys & table tennis, table football & darts in the garage. Their are also 2 bikes available. Established gardens with path . A 15 minute walk to Carvoeiro beach & market, 2 mins by car! 20 minute drive to Algarve Shopping Centre, fun fair, water park & Zoo marine where you can swim with the dolphins!

Carvoeiro is one of the prettiest villages in the Algarve. Unspoilt by high rise developments and only 45 minutes drive from Faro airport, it is ideally situated for many of the regions various attractions. Carvoeiro is a small, friendly and traditional Portuguese village, but with all the modern amenities such as restaurants, bars, shops and nearby golf courses. David Lloyd tennis is at Rocha Brava complex and at Carvoeiro Clube. Carvoeiro has its own sandy beach and many more are within easy reach. In the village there is an excellent food market, which opens every day until 1pm. The Intermarche superstore is a few minutes drive on the main Lagoa /Carvoeiro road. This delightful village has something for all ages, combining Portuguese charm with modern convenience. Many people return year after year never tiring of the friendly relaxing atmosphere. We are ideally located for trips to Silves, Lagos,Cape St Vincent and Sagres. Selville on the Spanish border is only a day trip away

Notes: Washing machine available but normally operated by the maid who attends 2 or 3 times a week. Pool heating extra cost as required. Travel cot and high chair available free of charge on request. Telephone available for local calls, iron and hair dryer also. The villa must be vacated by 11.00 a.m. on the day of departure. Preferred changeover day is Thursday but alternative days will be accommodated if possible. The pool has steps down into the shallow end which is marked up at 1.15 metres and a string of bouys across the pool shows where the slope starts for young children, to a depth of 2.2 metres. Leaving the bouys in place acts as a great volley ball net!

Family villa

Villa is what the description tells it to be. It is on a quiet area, so car is needed.

Heated pool had in the October very warm water. Kids didn't want to get out of the pool at all, which is fine as adults can keep eye on them easily from the sunbeds :-) just counting the heads visible in pool every now and then... And the pool area has gate so that small ones won't be able to go to the pool area without permission.

Villa is clean and all the people who we contacted were very nice and friendly. Only problems that we met were: outside lights that were nearest to the terrace area didn't work in the beginning, but we were able to fix those quite easily. And some of the light bulbs in bed rooms were broken, but new ones were in livingroom so easy to change.

Kitchen equipment could be better meaning knives, kettle etc. but the ones available were well usable still.
Beds are not what we are used to here in home, but on very good level if compared to the spanish time share apartment beds. :-)

I recommend this property to people who want to swim in own warm pool, and the house is big enought to take also grandparents with if you like. Own bathroom for every bedroom is a plus.

We already booked next holiday to the same villa, so not too bad place.

Excellent villa which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Heated swimming pool a real bonus including the octopus! particularly as understand the weather was a little unseasonal for May this year.
Having the ability to heat various rooms made it very comfortable in the evenings.
Maid service and management company - very friendly and obliging.
Only comments;- A map of the area and some information in the villa would be useful for when you arrive. Taken the Sat Nav which proved v useful. Also a few toys and dvds for small children would be beneficial.
Certainly would go back again!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
