Carvoeiro is a small well established fishing village in the centre of the Algarve with easy access by motorway from Faro Airport. With its own beautiful beach in the centre and many shops, restaurants and bars to choose from, this holiday destination is perfect for all age groups. The difference between Carvoeiro and most other coastal towns is that development has been outwards rather than upwards. There are no high rises and the development has been sympathetic to the landscape, therefore Carvoeiro has managed to retain its charm. There is also a good choice of beautiful sandy beaches within a short driving distance. Also a popular destination with golfers with a choice of Golf Courses to choose from, Gramacho, Pinta, and Vale do Milho.
