VILLA CASA CUBA is situated on the modern development of Clube Golfemar which consists of high quality villas in a tranquil setting amidst tropical gardens and adjacent to the Vale de Milho Golf Course. The villa is 100m from the communal pool and children’s pool, and consists of 2 bedrooms with 2 en-suite bathrooms, lounge, and dining room, and furnished to a very high standard. The kitchen is fully fitted with modern appliances. The Villa is south facing, providing stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean from the lounge and master bedroom; it has its own private garden and partly shaded rear patio, which provides outside dining & BBQ. Sun beds are located on the roof terrace which is accessed via a staircase from the rear courtyard, and enjoys all-day sun and fabulous panoramic views of the coastline and mountains. The Villa is near many spectacular beaches, championship golf courses, 5 quality restaurants, water parks and Zoo Marine.

Villa Casa Cuba is located 2.5km East of Carvoeiro and a 45 min drive from Faro Airport. The villa is situated near to the Rocha Brava holiday complex which offers tennis and gym facilities. There are restaurants, bars and a small supermarket within walking distance. Carvoeiro, formally a small pretty fishing village, is now a Cosmopolitan Resort that has not lost any of its former atmosphere and charm. It now caters for most holiday needs including a tourist information office, banks, pharmacy, a wide selection of restaurants and bars, a few nightclubs, boutiques, banks, chemist, butchers, bakery and local fish market. It has its own beach from which small boats can be taken to visit other beaches and coastal caves. It is in one of the most picturesque patches of the Algarve Coast. There are said to be 82 named beaches in the Algarve. The nearest large supermarket is Intermarche, which is on the road to Lagoa, approx 5mins by car.

  • Prices are for the property per week in Pounds Sterling. Price includes Maid Service which provides towel change and cleaning mid week, and full linen and towel change and cleaning mid holiday, if staying for two weeks. Longer term stays are available, subject to availability. Changeover day- Saturdays from June to September. Any day at other times. Check in time is after 2.00pm and check out time before 10.00am.
  • Booking Notes: A holding deposit of £100 per week is required to reserve your booking. A security deposit of £100 is required pre-paid to cover any breakages or damage, which, if no damage has occurred, shall be fully refunded on your return from holiday, a cheque will be sent to your home address. The balance and full payment is required 8 weeks prior to your departure date.

There is ample hanging and storage space for all your clothes. We provide a dual season duvet and all linen. There is a room fan for those warm nights. A Hair-dryer is provided for your use. The patio doors leads directly onto the rear terrace which overlooks the private garden and the ocean. The security shutters can be dropped down at night, but can also allow air flow. A private hallway leads to an en suite bathroom. In bedroom 2 there are large twin beds, with duvets and throws and all linen provided. There is a built in wardrobe, dressing table with drawers and mirror, and a bedside cabinet with a lamp. Again providing ample hanging and drawer space. There is a room fan and hair dryer provided. The window looks out onto the front lawn and garden. There is an en suite bathroom.

Notes: The lounge and the master bedroom leads directly onto the rear patio, which is equipped with table, chairs, parasol and sun loungers. The roof terrace also has table, chairs and sun loungers. Room fans are provided in both bedrooms and the lounge, and there is a log-burning stove for the cooler winter nights. Both bedrooms have ample hanging and drawer space. A hair dryer is provided in both bedrooms. A safe is installed, and all windows have electric shutters to provide security and keep the villa cool in the daytime. There are dimmer switches on all indoor lighting, and the patio and roof terrace has electric lighting. There is a CD/DVD player with surround sound speakers. Maid service is provided on a regular basis, but daily maid service can be provided on request. All linen and towels are provided. Beach towels are also provided. The Villa is approx. 100m away from the stunning communal pools. This is a non-smoking villa but ash trays are provided for use on the patios.

COAST/BEACHES: There are some stunning beaches close by with the nearest Centianes being about 1km (10-15 min walk). Within 5 mins by car is our favourite beach - Praia de Marinha with its natural arches and rock stacks. The smugglers beach at Benagil and Albandera all have good beaches. Some have good beach restaurants. The coastline around Benagil is spectacular and the cliff walk from Benagil to Albandera is rated one of the best cliff walks in the Algarve. There are said to be 82 named beaches in the Algarve, not to mention the hidden coves.

GOLF &TENNIS: The Algarve is renowned for its excellent golf courses, and the owners are keen Golfers. Casa Cuba is situated centrally to most of the best courses, thereby offering an excellent base for golfers. Vale de Milho 9-hole par 3 course is on site - this is only a short course, but suitable for beginners and short game practice. The Nick Price/ David Leadbetter Pestana Golf Resort (Vale da Pinta and Gramacho Championship courses) are 10mins drive from Golfemar. The Henry Cotton Pennina and (our personal favourite course) - Alto Clube Championship courses are all within a 15-minute drive. Salgados Links, Palmares and the new Golfe do Morgado are within a 20-minute drive. The Vilamoura courses are about 30 mins from the Villa. Discounted green fees and special package deals are available on many courses. Tennis can be booked at the Rocha Brava Tennis Centre, which is only a 10 minute walk from Golfemar.

CAR HIRE: Car hire is not essential, but is recommended in order to visit the many interesting places along this wonderful coastline, and inland to the mountains of Monchique. If you require a hire car we can recommend an excellent local company offering good value for money.

Other Activities: Two water-parks, and Zoo Marine where you can swim with the dolphins. There are many spectacular cliff walks nearby.

Well maintained villa. We found everything as described and extra touches including beach toys and plenty of tourist information. The photos don't do justice to the view from the roof terrace. The location is in easy walking of a supermarket and several good restraurants, but nicely away from the road making it a great retreat for hanging out. The pool is close and ideal for a change from the local beaches. Attractions are close by and the West coast surf is only an hours drive. We had a great time and recommend you visit

We have stayed at Casa Cuba three consecutive years now and it is an extremely comfortable villa with everything you could possible require. It is in a good location with a very handy shop to buy your portuguese tarts each morning and lovely fresh rolls. Also several restaurants in walking distance for an evening meal. Thoroughly recommended.

Great place to stay!

We had a fantastic time! This villa is very comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. The garden is very well kept and very private and safe for the children to play. The toys provided by the owners were also much appreciated! The swimming pools on site were great; they were never too crowded and catered for all age groups.
Carvoeiro is a very nice place to stay, we loved the food and we also enjoyed the beaches nearby. There’s a supermarket just a few meters away from the property that provides fresh bread and croissants, great for breakfast or light meals. The rear patio was also perfect for al-fresco lunch or dinner, that we enjoyed a lot! Thank you for a perfect holiday!

The location of Casa Cuba ensures a quiet and relaxing holiday. Everything you could possibly need is available in the villa and a small supermarket and a number of restaurants are within easy walking distance. There is plenty of information detailing golf courses, places to visit and local walks. The villa is clean, well maintained and managed by friendly helpful people. The swimmming pool is close by as are some stunning beaches. We would recommend this villa to anyone who enjoys home comforts and we will be returning.

Enjoyed a fantastic week in Casa Cuba. A more well organised and well kept villa would, I'm sure, be hard to find which sets you up for a stress free relaxing family holiday.
