It has its own swimming pool and beautiful landscaped gardens providing privacy and space for children to play. Pestana Golf Resort is situated about 3kms from the beautiful old fishing town of Carvoeiro in the centre of the Algarve, 7 kms West of Portimao. The village has its own pretty beach, where small restored fishing boats offer trips for tourists. There are lots of restaurants, bars and ever improving shops in town and surrounding countryside. There are no high rise hotels or large apartment blocks in Carvoeiro. Whilst the town has its own pretty beach, there are many more beautiful beaches within a short drive. The mountains of Monchique are easily reached within 30 minutes drive and the ancient moorish town of Silves within 15 minutes. There is a large water park about 5 minutes drive from the villa. With the newly completed motorway link Faro airport can be reached in 45mins. Drive to Lisbon is 2.5 to 3 hours.
