Villa Feliz is a new, fully equipped private villa with its own private pool. The villa is situated in a fantastic location, ideal for those who do not wish to hire a car, as it is only a 10 minutes walk to the town and the beach. The villa sleeps 8 and has air conditioning. A large & bright lounge which leads directly out onto the terrace & pool. The lounge is furnished with 3 sofa's of which one converts into a double bed. There is a TV, DVD player and a CD player. The dining room has a large pine dining table which seats up to 8 people and leads through to the lounge & patio doors looking out onto the garden and patio. The master bedroom upstairs has patio doors which lead to the front balcony with sea views. There are 2 further twin bedrooms at the back. The private pool (8m x 4m), shower and terraces are to the front & the side of the house. It has a traditional Portuguese BBQ and eating area. The garden is enclosed & safe for children NEW FEATURE POOLHEATING NOW AVAILABLE

Carvoeiro is a typical Portuguese fisherman's village that, in spite of its fast growth as a tourist attraction, has really kept some of its authentic character. The centre of the town has animation throughout the year and close by you will find lots of beautiful sandy beaches surrounded by spectacular cliffs. Some of the best golf courses in the Algarve are within 5-10 minutes drive. Tennis clubs and many other sports facility are close by. There are also many interested and historical places to visit within the region.

Beaches: There are several nice secluded beaches just a short drive away.

Car hire: We recommend car hire for your convenience. If you wish to rent a car whilst on Holiday in the Algarve, please let us know and we will arrange this for you.

Restaurants: There is a wide range of Restaurants in Carvoeiro. You find fresh fish as well as stone steak or Chinese, Italian and traditional Portuguese or international kitchen. There is something for everyone.

Golf: The local Vale do Milho 9 hole course is just perfect for high handicap golfers, as they do require a handicap certificate and is situated a 5 minutes drive away. For the more seasoned professionals there are two 18 hole golf courses within a 10 minutes drive (Vale da Pinta & Gramacho). There are some 24 golf courses within 30 minute drive from Carvoeiro, all offering different and stunning locations to suit all standards of golfers.

I chose this villa due to its reasonable price and was pleasantly surprised to find it so spacious and well equipped. The villa is on a steep hill so if you aren't using a car or taxi you have to be reasonably fit. That was its only negative, if you consider it to be one. Its an easy 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants etc as thats the downhill direction. The villa and pool were fantastic, the owners in England easy to contact to pay by cheque and the managers in Carvoeiro spoke perfect English, and were efficient to the extreme. I have 'saved' this villa as if we return to the Algarve it would be my first choice. I love Carvoeiro, this is my 4th visit there. Its not too touristy but nevertheless has loads of restaurants and bars and entertainment. Thanks very much to the owners and managers.
