A luxury 4 double bedroom villa all en-suite, 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms downstairs along with downstairs wc.It has a large garden situated overlooking the second fairway of the Quinta da Gramacho golf course, part of the Petsana Golf resort, which also incorporates the Vale Da Pinta course,where there are reduced green fees. The villa is set in a large garden overlooking the fairway, with its own heated swimming pool. This villa is ideal for a holiday as it is very spacious, light and airy and has sufficient bathrooms to accommodate all. There are large mature gardens which has a hammock and is ideal for children to play. There is an outdoor barbecue. Whether you want to just relax in the sun or watch the golfers go by this villa is perfect. It has large covered and uncovered terraces surrounding the villa with ample dining, seating and lounging facilities, so there is always somewhere to find shade if it gets too hot.Both Carvoeiro and the beach are approx 2 miles away.

The villa is on the Pestana Golf Resort overlooking the Championship Gramacho Course. It is approximately 10 minutes drive from the popular seaside fishing village of Carvoeiro where there are many bars and good restaurants. There is an on-site supermarket within walking distance and a further 5 large supermarkets within 5 minutes drive.There are several beaches within 10 minutes drive.There are 3 large shopping centres within 20 minutes drive and a water park 'Slide and Splash' just 5 mins drive from the resort.Ferraguda is about 15 minutes away, this area is being developed and again there are good restaurants especially Sueste, which serves very good fresh fish. The beach at Ferraguda is large and protected by a jetty, which makes it ideal for wind surfing jet skiing and swimming. Zoo Marine which is a great family day out is only 20 mins drive away and worth a visit if you have children.As well as the above the Algarve is famed for its fantastic golf courses which are all nearby.

Notes: The villa is on an attractive and very clean Golf Resort and is at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac with very little in the way of passing traffic ensuring a very peaceful and quiet location. The living room has an attractive wood burning stove, 42' plasma flat screen television and an Ipod docking station. Maid service is provided once a week free of charge with extra service available on request. The patio and pool area are south facing thereby having the sun virtually all day but still having plenty of outdoor space with shade if it gets too hot.Towels and pool towels are provided. There are 6 sun loungers, 4 dining tables with chairs, one table seats 8, one table seats 6 with the others seating 4. A relaxing hammock hangs from two of the mature trees in the garden. There is also on-site security patrolling regularly. The Clubhouse is 5 mins walk from the villa offering lawn bowls, tennis courts, putting green, swimming pool, jacuzzi with lounging area, children's play area.

Casa Guna: In addition to the two Championship Golf courses within the Pestana Resort, there is also Silves Golf Course within 15 mins drive owned by the same company. Within 30 minutes drive there are several other Championship Golf Courses including, Penina, Palmares, Vilamoura, Qunita do Lago and San Lorenzo along with many others.A new clubhouse on the Pinta Course was opened 2006 which is magnificent and offers a very impressive lunch menu. At the Gramacho Clubhouse you can have a full breakfast, snacks, lunches and dinner, a la carte also available. There is an outdoor swimming pool with jacuzzi, children's swings and slide, putting green, tennis courts and lawn bowls. There is also wi-fi available at the clubhouse ensuring internet access at all times.Whether you want to sit and watch the golfers go by the villa or simply lie by the pool and soak up the sunshine you can be re-assured of rest and tranquillity at all times.

Golf: The property is situated in the middle of the 'Quinta Gramacho' golf course. The garden ajoins the fairway for the second hole. The course is part of the Carvoeiro Golf and Country Club, which incorporates 2 x 18 hole courses, the championship course 'Vale de Pinta,' as well as 'Qunita do Gramacho' and the David Leadbeater Golf Academy. The first tee for the Vale de Pinta course is a few hundred metres from the villa. The cost of a round of golf is approximately £35 to £65.

We rented this villa for 2 weeks.
We loved
- the location -perfect for golf/good restaurants/beaches [car needed]
-club house within walking distance for all day meals and snacks
- the high standards of maintenance and security on the complex
-villa was light and bright, plenty of space, with all the bedrooms being a good size
-excellent internal/external decoration maintenance of villa
-very, very well equipped, even electrical mosquito repellents in every bedroom [not needed] .We never thought, 'I wish we had.....'
-the pool was fantastic -paying for the heating was well worth it
-administation and communication from the UK end was excellent
-house manager called to say hello and goodbye and was very efficient regarding getting a lock mended
-5 days each week of maid service - villa was kept spotless
-lots of outside space with sun beds, table and chairs for eating out, pool toys and shower
-small supermarket within walking distance [just!] with same day UK newspapers, bakery and basics
-sky package on tv [not movies or sport] but plenty of english channels inc all terrestial channels
-useful starter welcome pack
-watching the golf from the upstairs balconies/gate to course but the golfers could not see us in the swimming pool -so very private

Suggestions for improvement-very little at all
-shower room to 3rd bedroom is looking a bit tired -but everything worked

We had a really fab holiday and would definitely return
