Notes to the rental rates

• A 20% deposit is required to secure a booking, the balance being due 8 weeks before the arrival date. A damage deposit of £300 is also required which is returnable 7 days after departure. The cost of the heated pool is included. Air conditioning and central heating are normally included in the weekly rental rate (except reduced or special rate periods), but a charge may be made for high usage. Firewood is provided in winter months. Cots and high chairs are provided free of charge.
  
• There is no charge for cots or high chairs. Heating/air conditioning is available at a daily rate of €10. There is no charge for fire wood in winter months.
  
• We try to be as flexible as possible, if you wish to rent for a long week-end or mid week please contact us we will be happy to oblige.

Garden, terraces and heated pool

The new salt water (chemical free) heated swimming pool was completed in April 2006 and offers a beautiful environment for swimmers, it has a shallow end for children and roman steps making entry and exit simple. The salt content is roughly the same salinity as the tears in your eyes. The villa has a massive terrace on the first floor level - with shaded areas, sun lounger’s, tables and chairs - a delightful area for enjoying breakfast or a late evening drink watching the sun set. The sea is in view beyond the trees. Overall the villa has a feeling of spaciousness and luxury, every room being light and airy. There are numerous areas both inside and out for privacy, even when full Casa Romazeira never seems crowded. One of the bathrooms is directly accessible from the pool area. Local Amenities and Outings

Besides being directly opposite Carvoeiro Tennis Club with its own 12 tennis courts, pool, cafe etc., the villa is close to a number of excellent restaurants providing a variety of styles at a range of costs. There are a number of supermarkets close to the villa, smaller ones within walking distance and the large hypermarkets within a short drive or taxi ride. The sea is just a 20 minute walk away, from here you can walk westward along the cliff top paths towards Ferragudo, the views are spectacular! Reward yourself with a fantastic lunch at the Rei das Praias on Caneiros beech, one of the best seafood restaurants Portugal. If you would like a different day out, the owner, Steve, is an experienced jeep safari driver and can arrange your own private trip deep into the Algarvian countryside and high up into the Monchique hills.

Jill and Steve, the owners, live locally and will be on hand to greet you when you arrive, they also own another property locally, Casa Lousada - property number 16335. As they live locally Steve and Jill can help you with anything you may need before or during your holiday including the following:- CAR HIRE - Car hire can be arranged at competitive rates SHOPPING - Just send a list and we will do all your shopping for you before you arrive. It will be unpacked, put away and the beers will already be chilled in the fridge for when you arrive! DINNER AT HOME - if you want to avoid the trouble of booking a table for a large party or organising baby sitters and leaving the children at home, why don't you arrange for dinner to be cooked at home. All the shopping, cooking and clearing up will be done for you and all you have to do is enjoy the evening. BABY SITTING - on the other hand, if you do want a quiet night out without the children, then we can arrange a baby sitter for you

Golf Information:

The villa is less than a 5 minute drive from the Pestana Golf Resort . The two courses, Gramacho and the championship course, Vale da Pinta, are laid out over the most scenic undulating terrain amongst olive groves, carob, fig and almond trees. The 3rd Pestana course of Silves is less than 15 minutes drive from the villa. The Pestana Golf Academy is on site, with a golf school, driving range and practice green. There is a clubhouse at each of the courses with cafe and bar. Just across the town of Carvoeiro is the famous and popular par 3 course, Vale do Milho. There are many other superb golf courses within a short journey.
