Casa Rustica

We stayed at Casa Rustica at end of August for 10 days. We had a super time . The villa was clean, well located ,away from the hustle and bustle yet only a short walk away from the beach and town centre. The only negatives is that the master bedroom had only two small box windows onto an internal corridor where the two appartments are accessed. Just outside these windows is where the communal washing machine is located, so for the first two mornings we woke to the sounds of the spin cycle at 7.30am. However saying that, as soon as I told the owner, he spoke to the occupants of the two appartments and asked that they don't do their laundry until a more appropriate time. The owner was extremely helpful and we had no other problems with the washing machine after that.
Also if you are driving, the alley way to the villa is extremely tight, not for the faint hearted . A small car is essential if you want to park outside the villa. The owners have said this on their information sheet but don't underestimate how tight access is. We had a Group C car and it was still like going through the eye of a needle the first time we drove to the villa but you soon get used to it!!
