This fabulous villa is situated in an extremely peaceful area just outside Carvoeiro, and is absolutely ideal for a fun-packed holiday for a large family. Huge remote-controlled ornate gates provide access to the front entrance via the calcada driveway. The property nestles proudly in the centre of beautiful walk-around mature gardens of over 11,000 sq metres. All 4 bedrooms are en-suite and fully air conditioned, as is the spacious lounge. The huge pool is 12 x 6 metres and allows gentle entry at the shallow end with Roman Steps. The whole pool area is secured by walls and gates for child security. To the side of the house, there is a huge terrace where the pool is in open view, and a granite table and chairs, sheltered by a pagoda, seats up to 10 for Bbq and Al Fresco dining. Rarely is there a property such as this, offered for rental.

There are also 3 18-hole championship golf courses within 15 mins drive.

Additional information about rental rates

  • 25% of the full amount is required to seal the booking. The balance will be required 2 calendar months prior to arrival.
    During the winter months the villa can be heated with full underfloor heating (including bathrooms) for an additional £120 per week. Pool heating is also available for £150 for the first week, £50 for weeks thereafter. The pool is heated to required temp for guests on arrival, not merely switched on at that time.
  • Maid service is included in the price. Towels are changed mid week, linen once per week. Internet broadband access is available in the lounge free of charge. (Guests must bring their own laptops).

Notes: We request the guests refrain from smoking inside the villa. However it is permitted on all outside terraces and garden areas. The accommodation is fully air conditioned in all 4 bedrooms, and the lounge area. During winter, the underfloor heating is switched on, and keeps the whole villa, including bathrooms, very warm. This, with the pool heating facility, would make a fabulous winter family holiday. At one end of the pool, there is a dedicated games room with pool tables ( cues supplied). A fridge for drinks is also available which can also be handy when BBQ'ing on the terrace. A further sun terrace, complete with large table and seating for 8, is situated at the rear of the property near the car parking area. The lounge has a Sony TV and DVD, with sat free-to-air channel connectivity. Broadband internet connectivity is also supplied free of charge. A further portfolio of pictures of the villa is available if required.

Myself and 7 others all couples stayed at the villa in Torrinha Carvoiriro
When we arrived we could not beleive it was ours for 10days it was the most Magnificent villa i have stayed in in portugal..(and i have been going for the last 8 yrs).
The accomadation and grounds were vast the decor is excellent the atmosphere is great.
We felt so comfortable we did not want to go out in the evenings we used all the excellent facilities at the villa to cook some wonderful meals.
In fact we all had such a great time we booked up for next year as soon as we got home.....Top marks for this villa.

Wonderful villa

This villa was amazing. We took 3 generations of family, all with different needs and expectations of a holiday and everyone had a perfect time.

The layout of the villa is perfect for relaxing and entertaining.

The pool is excellent and the games room keeps dads and small boys content for hours.

The grounds are a delight, but be warned, the gardeners are there a couple of days and spend a few hours with lawn mowers and strimmers. Not a problem if you go out for the day, but can be a little annoying if you've had one too many glasses of port the night before and just want a quiet day by the pool.

The rooms are well presented and clean, with good facilities, and the maid service was excellent in helping to keep it that way.

The few downsides were: There are very steep steps up to one of the terraces, which were quite dangerous for small childern. Ours were 3 & 5 years old. A gate would have been useful here.

The villa is not within walking distance of any amenities or public transport, but as long as you drive or are happy to use good and reasonably prices taxi services., then this doesn't cause a problem.

We are considering re booking for two weeks next year as we had such a wonderful time. It truly is a wonderful villa. I would, and have already, reccommend it my friends.
