Casa Marric is a private pool villa within walking distance of Carvoeiro centre. The Villa comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a lounge with dining area and fire place, a fully equipped kitchen, Sky-TV and a private pool with children's pool area. The lounge patio doors lead you to the pool terrace with BBQ and small lawned garden. On the first floor you find a large terrace with beautiful sea views. The property is completely fenced.

Carvoeiro: Casa Marric is in walking distance to Carvoeiro Centre, Beach, numerous bars, Shops, Pharmacy, E-mail Cafes, Banks, & many restaurants. There is a wide range of Restaurants in Carvoeiro. You find fresh fish as well as stone steak or Chinese, Italian and traditional Portuguese or international kitchen. There is something for everyone. There are 3 golf courses within 10 Minutes drive Gramacho, Pinto & Vale de Milho. There are several nice secluded beaches just a short drive away.

car hire: We recommend car hire for your convenience. If you wish to rent a car whilst on Holiday in the Algarve, please let us know and we will arrange this for you.

Golf: The Algarve is one of the best golf destination in Europe. Within 30 minutes you can reach more than 20 golf courses some of them are the best in Europe.

Really nice villa - plenty of space and really well maintained.

My in-laws came with us and are unable to access upstairs rooms so the ground floor bedroom and bathroom were just perfect. Access is flat and fine for those with walking sticks or a wheelchair.

Large living area, with enough sofa space for at least 8 people, although we spent most of our time at the villa by the pool.

The grounds offer enough space for everyone in the party to lounge around and not feel cramped. The pool, while not Olympic size by any means, is perfect for a quick swim or cooling dip.

The built in barbeque by the patio area is a nice feature and came in very useful - when the wind was in the right direction!

Twin ground floor bedroom are a great size, with big built in wardrobes offering loads of storage space.

The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and duel fuel cooker and fridge freezer.

The top floor room has access to a sun terrace and has views of the mountains to one side and to the sea the other - although this is in the distance, it is still good to be able to see it!

This double room also has more than enough room with built in storage and the bathroom is just over the corridor - so its as good as en-suite!

The villa is just under a mile from Carvoeiro town centre and takes about 30 minutes to walk to - although it is up hill on the way back! There are a couple of mini supermarkets within 5-10 minutes walk so essentials are close to hand, and the restaurants and bars of Monte Carvoeiro are just 20 minutes walk away.

We didn't have a car and managed to do all we needed to do as Taxis are pretty well priced so local journeys can be catered for in that way, if you are looking to explore further afield then a car would be good (on-site off-road parking is available).

Finally, the maid service and pool cleaning were reliable and very efficient, the maid especially is very friendly and loved to have a quick chat! The agents were equally friendly and any problem that did occur was quickly sorted out with a simple phone call.

All in all - I would highly recommend Casa Marric and look forward to the possibility of returning soon.

Great villa but a but car is essential

Nice clean villa but a car is essential. Had a few issues while we were at the villa but all were sorted quickly by the agent. Although the villa is described as walking distance I think this a little misleading unless you like hiking as it would take at least 40 minutes at a brisk pace and its not flat. With a push-chair and a 2 year old I would say this is impossible. Pool area is fantastic.

the Villa gave 3 excellent bedrooms and the whole place was very spacious. the pool was of a good size and was in sun for most of the day. cleaning of the pool and the villa was of the highest order. The villa description said that it was within walking distance of the town. In my opinion it was a long walk especially in the hot sun and we never did it. This was not a great problem with a hire car as parking although difficult was possible.Local beaches were great.
