What a Treat!

This villa is everything you wish for a perfect holiday! It's easy to find, conveniently located near various beaches, restaurants and and supermarkets where you can buy whatever you want.
The house ist beautiful, high ceilings, very good lighting, airy and very very clean, as is it's surroundings. They water the plants every night, the alleyways are kept immaculate. Convenient parking in front of the house but you still can't see the ugly cars from the house.
The outside sitting area is perfect in summer because the sun never gets into the near third and hence can't burn down on you. However, it comes to light the plants and if you prefer to sit in the hot sun, you can move to the outer third.
When you enter the house, the kitchen is on the right hand side, and there's a door that goes out to a little patio. There are parasols and beach mats stored - what more do you want? From that patio, stairs are leading onto the roof-top where there are two deck chairs and a grill. That's fantastic! We enjoyed it so much so stay up there, overlooking everything, seeing the sea in the distance and just lazing about and having supper.
The description of the villa is more than correct, and the house is in an immaculate condition. The owners are very very friendly and care much to prepare you for your holiday. There even is a dictionary in a drawer and a ring binder with information and maps (we too, have left some brochures). We took too many clothes with us! Since there is a washing machine/dryer, we didn't use so many clothes as we thought we would.
We will certainly recommend this place to anybody whom we know will take care and treat the villa as if it were their own. We do hope that nobody staying there will take advantage and break or mess things up.
There's plenty to do: many wonderful beaches. We especially liked the praia dos carvalhos with the adventurous access via a steep tunnel. That was fun! Carvoeiro is only a short drive away and has got everything you need and want. An absolute must-do is the day trip on the wooden caravelle boat Santa Bernarda which departs from Portimao. We had a fab day out sailing up the coast and anchor at a sandy beach and spend the day with exploring the caves and having a superb barbacue! It's worth every dime! We drove a lot around. It's a beautiful country. Go into the hills and have lunch in one of the local restaurants. Silves was lovely, too.
We're running out of space now. Anyway, we hope to be back!
