| Notes: | On site facilities such as tennis and use of the fitness centre are at extra cost (contact facility). Daily maid service is also extra (approx. £60/week @ 6 days/week). Mid-stay clean included for vacations of 10+ days. Use of communal pools, gardens and play area is included. Please note: The villa backs directly onto the main pool and is well away from the road. For these reasons, it is ideally situated for families with young children. However, the sound of children having fun in the pool during July/August and the Kids' Disco in the evening by the pool bar (it usually finishes around 2330), may make it a little too lively for those wanting a quiet stay! |
Rocha Brava
The resort provides a quiet and relaxing vacation. The central area encompassing the main pool, play area, tennis courts and restaurant are traffic free making it ideal for young children. During July and August, local artists provide live music several evenings per week - usually finishing between 2330 - midnight. For those wanting more entertainment, please stay in Carvoeiro or Praia do Rocha in Portimao. (Note: The villa, and resort, is intended for family-based vacations. Groups with the potential to disturb other guests are not welcome.)
Activities
Golf discounts are available at several local courses. Two waterparks and Zoomarine (dolphins) are within 15 min drive (bus service when booked at reception). The nearest beach is Centeanes (see photo). From sand to key-in-the-door is a 12 min walk (perhaps a bit longer if you're carrying beach equipment!).
