This villa is all is says it is and more more more. Its photo's don't do it justice - and they looked great - but it was beautiful, well-equipped and exceptionally clean. The kitchen had everything you could ever want - I love cooking and there was nothing else I needed! Villa had 3 large family sized tables to choose from (we're family of 7). Pools were perfect for family with kids aged 4 to 17 - 2 pools being thoroughly used! Lots of lovely touches around the villa, the "maid" service 5 times a week was luxury and the owners made us feel very welcome and were very helpful. Wi-fi was thoroughly used and more reliable than ours at home!!
Cavoeiro was lovely town, and beaches were beautiful; local restaurants great - food fab. Need a car but worth it! What a lovely holiday - def recommend to friends -

Nice stay in Carvoeiro

We had a very nice time in Casa Estrelicia. The house is simply exquisite; nice, clean and with anything we needed. Also, the pool was used frequently. Actually every single day, except from the day when we had a trip to Lisboa. We usually prepared the meals ourselves using the kitchen and had many lovely dinners on the terrace. Getting around on the Algarve was easy when having a rental car. We were two families and did a lot of exploration of the region. Some evenings we went by foot to downtown Carvoeiro. We found this to be a very nice small fishing village with much of its old charm still well kept in place.

Excellent Villa

We had a wonderful holiday at this villa - it has everything you possibly need and a lovely big pool with plenty of sunbathing space around it. The property and outside space and garden was beautifully maintained with regular maid service/gardening etc. The agent who deals with your booking was very efficient and helpful. The nearest beach was probably 10-15 min walk, but a 2 min drive, and there are loads of beautiful beaches within 5-10-15 mins drive from here. I would say a car is necessary. I would recommend this to anyone - families, groups of couples, older families etc. We didn't think much of a couple of the restaurants nearby, but we found a nice one within 10 mins drive - Restaurant Roma.

Had a fantastic holiday in this villa, which is as stated and more really. It combines very high quality with comfort. Lots of books and DVD's but they are mainly German. The pool is excellent - a good size and depth for swimming and the sun is on it until the very end of the day. Pool towels were also provided which was good. The maid service was much appreciated; they were efficient and very friendly. Very easy to explore the area from here. Many beaches nearby and they are very beautiful; note though that they nearly all require a steep climb up and down steps or slopes. Marinha beach was particularly lovely. A visit to Zoomarine is a must for families. We ate in quite a few different restaurants and had lovely meals in all of them. Recommend sardines for lunch on Centianes beach in the little restaurant there. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa
