Set in 2 acres of land with spectacular views of the Algarve. Santa Barbara has a number of small supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. El Dourado is situated in the picturesque village of Santa Barbara, 20 minutes from Faro. This stunning 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom villa was built in 2000 to extremely high standards throughout. The villa is set in 2 acres of land and has spectacular views of the Algarve. There is a tropical garden, grassed lawns and a large heated swimming pool, together with dining terraces and a dedicated barbecue patio. The villa has automatic security gates and shutters and has a burglar alarm. The property is air conditioned through-out as well as having under floor central heating

We (7 adults and one 3 year old girl) spent a week in this lovely villa in May 2009.
The descrption and details provided on before hand were all accurate, the customer service and availability of Peter and his contacts on site was excellent. The villa has all facilities you can ask for and was very well maintained. The villa was our base for different kinds of acitivities during the week - kite-surfing, golfing, hiking, sightseeing tours and for some of us days full of just relaxing and playing by the pool (heated to perfect temperature -well worth the extra charge!). In the evening we mostly stayed at home and took turns at the out door BBQ.
Thanks for a fantastic week at your place!
