With superb views to the sea, Alba Vilas is a beautiful, unusually spacious (150sq m 9ft ceilings) 2 bed/2 bath apartment situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. It is a 10min walk to the Marina and 15mins to the lovely Blue Flag beach of Meia Praia and the town of Lagos (2mins by car). One of two large terraces leads directly to the pool, small spa pool and landscaped garden. There is a large master bedroom with ensuite bathroom which has a whirlpool bath and stunning glass basin. A twin room has adjacent bathroom and shower and both bedrooms have quality, fitted double wardrobes and patio doors to a terrace. The modern, fully fitted kitchen has a patio door to a terrace and built in BBQ which is complete with cooking utensils. There is a cool box with picnic cutlery and plates for those days out. A spacious and light and airy lounge/dining room with superb sea views, leads out through patio doors to a south facing terrace, pool and garden. Electric shutters/videophone entry/parking outside

Lagos is one of the most beautiful and historic towns on the Algarve. With picturesque cafes and cobbled streets, it can be reached on foot in 15/20 minutes. The main promenade is lined with exotic trees and plants and runs alongside the inlet and Marina which is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. From here you can take trips to see the dolphins and grottoes; dive; sail and fish. There is an excellent choice of restaurants, bars and shops in both areas, with plenty of night-life during the summer months. Meia Praia is the nearest beach at a 10/15 min walk and here you will find a variety of restaurants plus a water sports centre. This beautiful Blue Flag beach has 4km of golden sand and dunes and the restaurants dotted along it offer a wide menu + fresh fish and local wines. With Palmares, Boa Vista and Penina Golf Courses close by; the Monchique mountains and coastal routes for walking and cycling; plus Zoomarine and Aqualand within a half hour drive, there is something for everyo

Changeover day can be flexible with the exception of July and August when it is Saturday to Saturday. There is an English Managing Agent close by who will meet you during your stay and also be available if you should need any help.
