Looking out to the sea, Alba Vilas is a beautiful, unusually spacious (150sq m 9ft ceilings) 2 bed/2 bath apartment situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. A genuine 10min walk to the Marina and 15mins to the lovely Blue Flag beach of Meia Praia and the town of Lagos. The new Algarve Race Circuit is 15 mins away. One of two large terraces lead directly to the pool, small spa pool and landscaped garden. There is a large master bedroom with ensuite bathroom which has a whirlpool bath and stunning glass basin. A twin room has an adjacent bathroom and shower and both bedrooms have patio doors to a terrace. The modern, fully fitted kitchen with patio doors opens onto a terrace with a built-in BBQ and cooking utensils. There is a cool box with picnic tableware for those days out. A spacious and light and airy lounge/dining room with views to Meia Praia Beach, leads out through patio doors to a south facing terrace, pool and garden. Electric shutters/videophone entry/parking outside.

Lagos is one of the most beautiful and historic towns on the Algarve. With picturesque cafes and cobbled streets it can be reached on foot in 15/20 minutes. The main promenade is lined with exotic trees and runs alongside the inlet and Marina which is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. From here you can take trips to see the dolphins and grottoes; dive; sail and fish. There is an excellent choice of restaurants, bars and shops in both areas with plenty of night-life during the summer months. Meia Praia is the nearest beach at a 10/15 min walk and here you will find a variety of restaurants plus a water sports centre. This beautiful Blue Flag beach has 4km of golden sand and the restaurants dotted along it offer a wide menu + fresh fish and local wines. With the new Algarve Race circuit plus Palmares, Boa Vista and Penina Golf Courses nearby; the Monchique mountains and coastal routes for walking/cycling; and both Zoomarine and Aqualand a 30 min drive, there is something for everyone

  • * An optional WELCOME PACK is available for a small charge. This is especially useful for early/late arrivals and after 4pm on Sunday when most supermarkets close. It will include the basics i.e. milk, tea, coffee, bread etc.
    * 5% DISCOUNT for booking of 2 consecutive weeks or more (excluding June, July and August).
    * Rates are inclusive of heating/air conditioning and Maid Service.
    * Long WINTER LET prices available on application.
    NB: In the low season an additional £20.00 pp per week is charged for guests over and above a party of 2 and for the rest of the year where the occupancy is more than 4 please add £20 for laundry.

Thank you. The rental of your beautifully furnished and fully equipped apartment at Alba Vilas was superb.

We really did have a healthy, chilled out Christmas. The children surfed everyday and I was swimming everyday. The weather was good and we came back with a tan on our faces. The apartment and gardens were really lovely and the directions spot on.

Got back today 29th August 09 & have to say what a great 2 weeks we all had, Apartment is clean & well equipped although we did miss having a dish washer, great view of the sea & garden/pool area (which is well maintained). Close to the Marina & Lagos town, Beach is a very short drive or a 20 min walk away. I have no hesitation in recomending this to anyone, and will be looking to go back next year hopefully for 3 weeks this time!
No hassle booking - the owners were very informative & supplied great directions from the Airport.

Wonderful apartment

June 2009 - What a gorgeous apartment, we loved it from walking in the front door, you can see over to the sea and if your lucky you will have cows in the field behind. A lovely view when opening your windows in the morning.
Spacious apartment, very clean, everything you need. Lovely safe pool area, the pool is also quite warm compared to some we've been in in the Algarve. By the afternoon the kids pool is like getting into a bath its so warm! The terrace is great to wander out on in the morning for breakfast, quite sheltered so its a perfect suntrap also great for kids as it is secured by a lockable gate. A genuine 10mins walk to the Marina with a pushchair, a further 5 mins to the Old Town. Loved the apartment and Lagos.

Recently returned from a 3 week holiday at the above property. (03/04/09)The apartment is very spacious and bright. and finished to a high specification.The furniture and fittings are also of a very high quality.The weather was glorious, if a little chilly at night and, alas, too cold for the pool.The terrace is a real sun trap and very large.The apartment is extremely well placed for access to all amenities in and around the area and also the main roads and motorway.There is a large area of land between the apartment and the ocean which has lovely bird life for anyone interested in bird watching. I would not hesitate to either return or to recommend it.
Owner's Response: For the winter months there is a lovely new Leisure Centre which has a large, indoor heated swimming pool open to the public. It is only a 2 minute drive away and there is also a gym, cafe and treatments such as massage are available.

This apartment exceeded our expectations. It was immaculately kept and was in perfect walking distance of beach, shops, marina and restaurants. The pre-holiday information was really well organised, accurate and helpful. I would definately recommend this apartment to all!
