A modern one bedroom apartment on the top floor of a residential block set on a hill overlooking the bay of Meia Praia within a private walled secure condominium with landscaped gardens, a large pool with children's' area, a tennis court, and car parking. Being on the top floor the apartment has stunning panoramic Atlantic ocean views from all rooms and the sunny terrace and enjoys cool sea breezes. The condominium is only 600m from Lagos Marina, and 1000m from the sandy beach and the town of Lagos, yet is far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. The apartment has ceramic tiled floors, a double bedroom with fitted wardrobe, and a spacious lounge opening onto a sunny terrace perfect for a glass of wine and alfresco meals while you admire the view. The kitchen is fully fitted and opens directly onto the terrace. The full bathroom has the added luxury of a Jacuzzi bath. There is SKY satellite TV in the lounge and a sofa bed which opens into 2 singles and is ideal for children.

At the picturesque Lagos Marina there are restaurants, bars, and cafes overlooking the moored yachts. Wireless Internet is available. The historic town of Lagos is only a 1Km walk away over the marina bridge and has a vibrant array of bars, shops, and restaurants. There is a SuperMarket a 10 minute walk away, and a convenient MiniMarket and Bakery just across the road from the apartment for fresh croissants for breakfast. The still relatively undiscovered, jagged coastline of the western Algarve is a maze of golden beaches and sandy coves and is said to be Europe's most consistent surf region. Meia Praia beach is one of the longest beaches in the Algarve and sun-loungers, parasols. and surf boards can be hired. Along the sandy beach are a number of laid back beach bars. Lagos is a perfect location for all the family as there is something for everyone. There is a taxi rank along the main street, a local Zoo, and water parks approx 30min drive. There are 3 golf courses close by.

Car Hire: : Recommended. You can collect a car from Faro airport and enjoy a pleasant 1 hour drive to Lagos along the new Motorway. Estimated walking times to the marina (600m), beach (1000m), and town (1000m) vary between 5 - 10 mins to the marina, and 15 - 30 mins to the beach and town. There is a dedicated car parking slot at the condominium for your hire car and there are car parks at the marina and beach and in town, so if you are feeling lazy and have a hire car you have the option of taking your car.

Maintenance and Help: : The apartment is managed by local management agents in Lagos who will provide any help and assistance required during your holiday.

Property as described, clean and well maintained. The owner provided excellent customer service. We would absolutely recommend this property to a friend and would most certainly return here ourselves.
A car is useful but not essential providing you don't mind a leasurely 10-15 minute walk to the large Pingo supermarket, main town and Meia Preia beach. However, if you enjoy sight seeing then a car is a must and there are some wonderful places to see around the Algarve.

Highly recommended...but don't book our weeks

Apartment is lovely; clean, modern and the views are fantastic. Unlike standard tourist accomodation, this has a home from home feel. The large and nicely designed pool and gardens make it a peaceful area to relax.
You must like a bit of walking however, it is a good 30 mins walk to the beach / into town but there are refreshments at the marina half way!
Contact with the owner and property managers was easy and seemless.
Until discovering Lagos, we have rarely returned to a particular holiday resort but this was our 3rd visit to Lagos and each holiday has been better than the last, with so many restaurants and bars to discover. Highly recommended. We hope to return next year, wish we were there now.... sigh.

I have just returned from the apartment and it is amazing. It is the best apartment I have stayed in. It really is home away from home and it has everything you could possibly need. The views from the balcony are fantastic. Unspoilt views of the beach. The apartment is within walking distance to the marina and the old town, yet far away enough to have a quiet holiday.
