Our apatment is a bright & modern & is on the 2nd floor of a private condominium Monte Anastacia.Which sleeps 4 & is set in beautiful mature gardens with swimming pool, free tennis court & barbecue area. All rooms have beautiful uninterrupted sea views.Take a 5 min stroll to Lagos.where cafe bars & boat trips.available. It's a 10 minute stroll to the beach & town.The apt is entered via electronic gates & doors with own private parking . lift. The apartment has a sunny south facing terrace with uniterrupted views of beach & Lagos town. The apt has a spacious lounge with Patio doors leading out onto terrace table & 4 chairs for alfresco dining or watching the sunset. Also in the lounge are 2 sofas 1 a bed settee The kitchen opens directly on to the terrace & is fully fitted with all modern appliances + iron & ironing board.The bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes &Juliet balcony.The bathroom has a bath,toilet,wash basin, bidet ,shower and cabinets Bath Towels supplied

Lagos is a pretty, old town, with many fine restaurants and bars which are set on quaint cobbled streets and squares. There are many typically Portuguese shops to browse around, selling lovely pottery etc. The sandy beach of Meia Praia is one of the longest in the Algarve with cafe bars, sunbeds and water sports available. The marina de Lagos is a 5min walk from the apartment, here you can watch the sun go down or take a boat trip to watch the dolphins. Lagos is an historical town with a lovely 17th church of Santo António and old city walls, which have been beautifully renovated. The zoo and water parks are approx 25min drive away or you can book a trip from the marina. Take a trip to zoo marine where you can swim with the dolphins. The Algarve is renowned for its golf courses and Lagos is no different with 18 hole Palmares and Boavista golf courses near by. Lagos can now be reached by the new motorway, making it easy to get from Faro airport in about 50min.

Just 1 minute from apartment there is a small shop which sell all essentials. There is also a large supermarket 8 minutes walk away Car Hire: A car would be handy but not essential. Once you are at the apartment everything is within walkable distances. There are plenty of taxis , a local bus and railway station which is 5/10 minutes walk away. Trips with transport included can be booked on the marina or town, i.e. water parks. If you wish to drive, you can collect a car from Faro airport and enjoy a pleasant straight forward 50 minute drive to Lagos traveling along the new Motorway or hire a car in town for day trips . If requested we will provide you with directions from faro airport to the apartment.

Beaches In Lagos: In Lagos, there are several lovely beaches to visit. Meia Praia, a 4km sandy beach only a few minutes from the apartment, offers several water sport facilities, it is ideal for windsurfing and surfing. All along Meia Praia beach, there are many beach bars where visitors can enjoy evening meals or cocktails. Praia da Dona Ana, Praia do Camilo and Porto de Mós, are other popular beaches located 5 minutes drive from the apartment, also worth visiting.

Activities : Over the past years, the western Algarve has become an international destination for many golfers and holidaymakers. There is a wide selection of golf courses around Lagos. Palmares, an 18 hole golf course is only 2 minutes drive from the apartment. Boavista and Parque da Floresta Golf courses are other alternatives only a few minutes drive. Water sport activities can be found in several beaches and boat trips from the Lagos Marina can be bought at good prices. Water Parks such as, Slide and Splash and Big One are only 30 minutes drive and are excellent for the children. Lagos Zoo is only 15 minutes drive inland and the Zoomarine, 35 minutes drive east, is definitively worth visiting. Trips to the water parks can be booked on marina for those who do not wish to drive.

Marina and Lagos Town : The marina is only a 5 minute stroll from the apartment were you can enjoy a cocktail have an evening meal, or take a boat trip. The town centre is only 5 minutes walk from the marina along a tree lined esplanade. The centre of Lagos has a very friendly atmosphere with its many fine restaurants, set on cobble streets, where visitors can enjoy a lovely meals or watch the world goes by. There are a great variety of shops which are nice to browse around. Lagos being a very historical town has lovely churches,squares and museums.

Quiet place, beautiful view, great pool area, cosy apartment with many utilities for your day-to-day life; central location, near to the beach, near to supermarkets.

A special word for the hosts - very kind and helpful.

Fabulous apartment with fantastic view.

The apartment is exactly as it was described if not better. (The pictures do not do it justice). The views from the balcony were fabulous - from the gardens below all the way to the sea. The apartment + complex was extremely clean and well maintained. The swimming pool / garden area were beautifully maintained and on a number of occasions we were the only people at the pool.
The owner Gail was extremely helpful before our holiday providing information about hire cars / airport transfers, restaurants she would recommend etc. She could not be more helpful and this was invaluable.
There are numerous restaurants within the marina and over the bridge in Lagos - we did not have a bad meal during our stay.
We read the reviews before we booked and someone said it is like "home away from home" and we would definitely agree with that statement!
We would recommend this apartment to our friends and family without any hesitation.

We had a most enjoyable holiday in this beautiful apartment.
Gail - (the owner) was fantastic at making sure we had all the correct information prior to our arrival -which gave us peace of mind - and a holiday without a hitch! The view of the Atlantic Ocean at Meaia Praia from the apartment is stunning! The apartment has everything you could wish for - fully equipped - a beautiful terrace - home from home in fact! Because of the relatively cool evenings (March can be like that I'm afraid!) - it was lovely to be able to switch on the central heating for an hour. We felt very secure and safe.
We would thoroughly recommend this apartment and would have no hesitation in staying there again, were we to go to the Algarve again!

My daughter and I spent a week in this apartment. It is a charming, comfortable, very well-maintained apartment with everything that you need. We were there at a time of unseasonably cold weather but that did not take away from the warmth of the apartment and the beauty of the views it offered. We would jump at the chance to go back.

I have to start by saying that this apartment is THE BEST apartment my family and i have stayed in, in all our years renting private apartments. From start to finish this was the perfect holiday apartment,anyone could wish for. Right from the start Gail (owner) was so nice,friendly and helpful with everything, rangeing from the directions from the airport,car hire info, taxi fares,directions to the apartment and recommending restaurants in Lagos, everything she told us was SPOT ON!!!
As for the apartment itself, it was stunning!!!! absolutely SPOTLESS, everything you could need and more was in it. A fantastic apartment and complex. The views from every window are gorgeous and the pool and gardens are beautiful, a very safe enviornment, especially if you have children with you.
My family and i would HIGHLY recommend this apartment for any type of holiday, be it family,romantic etc... and we will most definitley be back.
