A large, luxury 3-bedroom apartment, on the upper of two floors, just outside the city wall, in one of the most convenient locations in Lagos. A short stroll to the central square, lovely promenade and local beaches. Marina, golf courses and railway station within easy reach. Many excellent restaurants and fascinating shops in the vicinity. All the rooms are large. Everything about the apartment speaks of quality. The main bedroom has an en suite bath/shower room and there is a second bathroom with a walk-in shower, fully equipped. The spacious lounge has a comfortable 4-piece suite, television, Digibox (giving British channels) and DVD. Broadband facility available. Access to rear balcony from the lounge and kitchen and this overlooks a large courtyard/pool area. A huge roof terrace gives superb views across the old city, the beach and the Monchique mountains. Special rates available for smaller numbers of people.

A large newly built apartment with high-quality fittings throughout. There are three large bedrooms, one with an en-suite bath/shower room and a separate bath/shower room serving the other two bedrooms. There is a large, comfortable sofa bed in the lounge. The six twin beds are larger than normal, being 1.95m x .95m, to accommodate taller people. All the bedrooms have views over the old city and the bay. Spacious lounge with a comfortable three piece sofa bed suite. There is a dining area off the lounge. The rear balcony, accessed from both the lounge and kitchen, overlooks a huge courtyard area with swimming pool. The balcony has sun all day long. A very large roof terrace has barbecue facilities and sun beds, with magnificent views of Lagos bay and the Monchique Mountains. We keep games, books etc in the apartment to keep children amused. There is an allocated garage space underneath the apartment with direct lift access

Lagos is on the coast in the attractive west end of the Algarve. It is steeped in history but at the same time has developed as a resort providing a wide range of activities. Very close to other quaint coastal villages and excellent beaches. Easy access to golf courses and many places of rural interest inland. Lagos is arguably the most attractive location on the Algarve, both for what the town itself offers and the easy access to other areas.

Notes: The apartment block is horse-shoe shaped and built to a very high standard throughout with top quality fittings. There is direct access to the apartment from the car park via a lift. Wheelchair access is provided, but as Lagos is slightly hilly in parts, using a wheelchair is not be easy but we take one with us for one of our family each time we go.

Excellent apartment and location. Clean and well equipment. Excellent views from the bedroom balconies and the lounge balcony overlooks the pool.3 good sized bedrooms and short walk to town. Ideal as a base or a place to chill out. Very good service from the owner.

This apartment is the tops in every way. We are surprised it is so reasonably priced. It is large, comfortable, well-equipped and in the most convenient location. By far the nicest apartment we have stayed in. Lagos is a lovely old town and in no time at all on leaving the apartment you are walking through the narrow streets with attractive shops, loads of great restaurants and lovely walks. We loved it. We would recommend it without hesitation. Absolutely brilliant stay in every way.

We have stayed in this excellent apartment several times since it was built in 2004 and we will continue to return. It has everything anyone could possibly need. Lots of space and everything about it spells quality.The location is great, being very near restaurants, the promenade and shops. We love it. The rear balcony overlooks the pool area, so it is easy to keep an eye on children. The apartment is near the ancient city wall. There are lots of interesting, narrow streets. The local authority in Lagos is making all kinds of improvements. We think it is already the best place on the Algarve by miles and it is going to be even better. If anyone reading this is looking for somewhere in Lagos, we suggest you go for it because you will be hard put to find anything better. The owners are such nice people to deal with and you get excellent value for money. Can't praise it enough!

We first stayed in this property in August 2007 and we had a fantastic time. We are now arranging another visit. We have two young children and the apartment was excellent in every way. There is lots of space, and it is so comfortable. Also, lots of games, books etc for the children, as well as the swimming pool.
The location of the apartment is great. It only takes a minute or two to get to restaurants, shops and the promenade. We all loved the small, clean beaches, but there is also a very big beach for those who want it. The apartment is very well equipped, including the kitchen for anyone who wants to eat in.
We couldn't fault it in any way and we would highly recommend both Lagos itself and this apartment for anyone who wants a relaxing holiday in a quaint old town.
The range of interesting shops in the narrow streets, as well as easy access to everything we needed, all made for a superb holiday. Go for it!

Best apartment we have ever had for a holiday

We had never been to Lagos before and we were totally sold on it as a holiday venue. It really is a bit of old Portugal, with a city wall, several small beaches as well as one huge one and lots of quaint shops, narrow streets and terrific restaurants.
This apartment has everything - a great location, well- equipped, comfortable, and very close to the town centre. It has its own garage space in a secure garage, but you don't really need a car unless you want to tour the area. Everything in the town is easy walking distance. Parking in the prom area can be difficult, so the fact that we could walk everywhere was a blessing.
In the area where the apartment is located you mix with local people rather than hoards of tourists.
All of our family loved it and we have already used the apartment twice. The rates are very reasonalbe too, especially for a three bedroom apartment.
Finally the sun! You have the sun all day on the rear balcony and the children loved the pool area and the large roof terrace.
The last thing you will take away from this place is disappointment.
