Conveniently located apartment in new complex with direct access to the pool area. 5 minutes walk to the centre of Lagos with its many excellent restaurants, bars and shops, 10 minutes walk to the town beach, 15 minutes walk to spectacular cove beaches. In season the town ferry takes you to the 4km long Meia Praia beach which is so big it never gets crowded. Lounge/dining room with TV/Sky digi box (British channels), opening onto balcony with table and chairs. Fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave with grill and toaster. One double bedroom with king size bed and ensuite bathroom, one twin bedroom and a second family bathroom. Both bedrooms have cooling fans and open onto a second balcony. Shared swimming pool with sun loungers. Secluded, sunny roof terrace with sun loungers, table and chairs and spectacular sea and Lagos town views. Lagos is an interesting historical town and there are still many architectural signs of its ancient past. The town’s magnificent new marina provides a contrast to the narrow cobbled streets and whitewashed houses in the town. There are many cove beaches to discover along the coast as far as Cape St Vincent, the most southwesterly tip of Europe. Within easy reach of Lagos are superb golf courses, a zoo and water parks. The nearby bus and train stations will take you to fishing towns like Portimao or Sagres. In season a regular road train runs between the town, the Marina and the beaches. The Autódromo Internacional do Algarve is a brand new 4.692 kilometers race circuit located only 10 minutes drive from Lagos. The project includes a karting track. The circuit hosts Formula 1 testing, Moto-GP, A1-GP, Le- Mans series and much more.

  • The apartment can be booked from any day for any duration. There are no hidden costs for Euro bank transfers. Rates negotiable for extended stays and long winter lets. November - March: Heating costs will be in addition to the rental charge. The rates include a complimentary meet and greet service, a weekly maid service and weekly linen/towel change. A 20% deposit is required to confirm your booking. Full payment is required eight weeks prior to arrival together with £100 security deposit, which will be refunded once the apartment has been checked for any breakages/damage.

Transport: A car is not necessary. Private transfers can be arranged from Faro airport at a cost of 90 Euros each way. The train from Faro to Lagos takes 1 hour 40 minutes with the first train leaving Faro at 07.05 and the last one at 22.05. The first train from Lagos is at 06.08 and the last at 19.08 and costs just a few Euros. There is also an excellent bus service.

Things to do: There are several water parks and a marine zoo within 30 minutes drive. The Marina offers boat trips to the grottoes and dolphin safaris. A two screen cinema, 5 minutes walk from the apartment, features the latest films in English. There are open-air summer concerts at the amphitheatre in the town and the cultural centre frequently has recitals and art exhibitions. There are two daily fresh fish markets in the town and on Saturday there is a local farmers market. The nearest golf course is the 18 hole Boavista Golf course situated between Lagos and Luz and the Palmares Golf Course is a 10 minute drive away, set out overlooking the bay of Lagos with amazing views.

Fantastic time!

I stayed in Lagos with 3 friends in Sepetember 07, we had a fantastic time and the apartments definitely made it loads better!
They're in a great location, not right in the middle of the town but not too far away either.
The pictures of the apartments and their surroundings on the website looked great and when we arrived it didn't disappoint!
They're lovely, fresh, modern, well maintained and were an absolute pleasure to stay in!
We found that the apartment had all the facilities we required such as cooking utensils, washing machine, dish washer, plenty of space, tv, dvds, magazines, brollies, sun lounger covers & even some beach gear!!
We particularly enjoyed the balcony area for a few drinks and having our tea on many evenings!
There are some great restaurants in Lagos ... our favourites were Mullins for a nice steak and a bit of quirkyness and a thai restaurant called the Lemon Grass, this was our favourite and we managed two visits during our stay!!
I would definitely stay here again if I was visiting Lagos and I would certainly recommend it to others!!!

FANTASTIC APARTMENT

My family have just returned from our July 2009 holiday to this apartment. This was our first visit to the Algarve and should we holiday in any other resort it will be hard to find accomodation as good as this. It has everything that anyone would want. The photos on the Web site don't do it justice.
The pool is on the small side but there was never an issue about getting in to cool off.
I'ts a short walk down to the centre of town with lots of great restuarants to chose from ( Piri Piri was our favourite). There is music & entertainment in the square at night.
We also found the auditorium which is a 5 minute walk away, just inside the City walls, where we saw an Abba tribute band for only 2 Euro pp.
The big supermarket ' Intermarche ' is also about a 5 minute walk from the flat but there is a small one at the top of the hill where you can stock up on some basic provisions.
We hired a car and made use of the underground parking at the complex.
The only issue we had was with the seagulls which had used the roofs for nesting.
We have been raving about this apartment to our friends and family and will have no hesitation recommending it or booking it again.

Simply The Best!

My family and I have stayed at this apartment a couple of times now, we love it. We love Lagos. This is the best apartment in Lagos. It is big and spacious, clean and bright, with everything in it that you need. It has the best roof top terrace with breath taking views, nice surroundings and a good pool.

Lovely Apartment, Great Location

The apartment was lovely - couldn't fault it in any way at all - clean, airy, spacious, lovely condition. Underground parking a definite bonus, especially due to town location and the heat.

The location was excellent - a few minutes stroll from everything that Lagos (which, incidentally, is THE most fantastic place) has to offer but without being disturbed by noise. There are beaches, restaurants galore, a lovely marina and much to do for everyone, young and old.

Our only extremely slight disappointment was that the pool is a tad on the small side, although the sun terrace surrounding it is lovely ... and there's always the option of a walk to a local beach (which is fab!).

Great place to stay

This property is fantastic, clean and nicely presented. It is a short walk into the heart of Lagos with good restaurants and bars nearby. The beach is also nearby. It has undercover secure parking and we where very happy with the apartment and the pool. The owners where very helpful and quick to return our deposit. I would recommend taking a boat ride around the beautiful cliffs and rock formations around Lagos a definite highlight of this beautiful area. I would definitely recommend this apartment, a great apartment in a great place.
