This spacious open plan studio apartment overlooks the large swimming pool, (which includes a childrens pool) and out to sea . It is well equipped and sits above probably the most photographed beach and attractive rock configurations on the western Algarve. It is a short walk down a number of steps to the small picturesque beach with two small cafe/bars perched above, one of which is open all year. The apartment benefits from a newly installed air conditioning system, for your comfort, during the hot summer months. It is a very pleasant 10 minute stroll from Lagos town centre.

The Town: Lagos town is only a ten minute very pleasant stroll away, and if its too much for you, you can get a taxi back at the end of your night out. It has something to offer for most tastes, a good selection of restaurants, shops to mooch about in, even a cinema. As well as the small pretty beaches below the property, there is the huge sweep of meia praia beach the other side of the town, with several restaurant/bars dotted along it. It is perfect for an early evening picnic or barbecue, or for a power walk along the water's edge.

Beyond Lagos: If Lagos itself isn't enough for you, you can head west and sample what Luz, Burgau and Salema have to offer. You can go further to Sagres and Cap St Vincent, the most westerly point of Europe, which can be a bit wild and windy. The area around Lagos offers great scope for coastal walks. Boat trips are also available as are various day trips.

What you see is what you get !

I was so pleasantly surprised that, for once, what you see is what you get! The views in the photograph on this website are exactly what you wake up to every morning - absolutely stunning. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean, comfortable and exactly how it is described on this site. The aircon was perfect for the hot sticky nights too !
The owner is very approachable, friendly and helpful and sent us lots of useful information about Iberlagos and Lagos Town. There are lots of useful guides in the apartment too.
To access the pool you need a passcard and 4 are normally left in the apartment. However there was only 2 when we arrived but one telephone call to the owner's representative in Portugal and everything was sorted straight away.
There is something for everyone in the Lagos area, and for all ages. Whist my husband and I contented ourselves with clifftop walks, swimming, sunbathing and sight seeing, our 21yr old daughter and her boyfriend went paragliding, jet skiing and kayaking.
We didn't bother to hire a car on this trip as we have been to Portugal several times before and just wanted a rest! However, to see all the other wonderful beaches I would recommend car hire. We considered a boat trip to Sagres for the day but at 47Euros each thought it a bit expensive. Buses are cheap and taxis reasonable for visits to other local beaches. And if you enjoy long walks Porto do Mos and Luz beaches aren't too far away.
There are so many restaurants to chose from in Lagos town itself I'm hard pressed to choose my favourite, but maybe No Patio or Dom Henrique. There's also a couple of very reasonably priced and friendly restaurants quite local to the apartment.
In short, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this property to friends and relatives, and look forward to visting again.

Perfect retreat

This property is ideal for those who want to relax and de-stress from the moment they put their cases down !! I have enjoyed two holidays here and plan to go back for more. The view over the pool and beyond to the beach is absolutely beautiful and immediately promotes a feeling of tranquility. The apartment is well maintained and equipped and is in an ideal location. The town is just a short walk away and is full of character. There are numerous restaurants and cafe bars catering for all tastes. The property has a guide book and visitors have left their own recommendations and comments about the restaurants they have tried. The owners of this property are a pleasure to deal with and have been very helpful if I have needed any additional information about local services. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to friends. Whilst I love it for its peaceful location and the opportunity it provides to enjoy a completely relaxing holiday there are boat trips and excursions for those who want a more active holiday. The pool is huge and is surrounded by a well kept lawned area. There is plenty of space to relax and the beach is just below the pool area. There is a bar on the beach and another one a short walk away overlooking the sea. Both are ideal for morning coffee and light lunches.

This property provides an ideal retreat in a stunning location!

great views

myself and my wife were at this apartment in July 2008 and it was a pleasure to wake up every morning to the superb view. The apartment had everything you need for your holiday and the pool was great and pretty quiet and the beautiful beach is just a 2 minute walk down quite a few steps. The walk into Lagos takes about 10-15 minutes and can get a little tedious but Lagos is not too busy and not too quiet but a great place to be. Pity there was no sky as no channels were in English and although the patio was very scenic and had chairs and beds provided, it had a path where all other tenants and holidaymakers had to pass and look down at you. If you are over 5 foot 4 inches tall then be prepared to stoop every night you go to bed as it has a very low ceiling. Overall I feel the holiday was good and the apartment and amenities very good and Lagos was a super place.
