Praia de Camilo beach, 7 mins, next to it with popular fish restaurant. The historic & picturesque old town of Lagos is within easy walking distance, with cobbled streets & colourful squares. Lagos town is within easy walking distance, buses run to nearby Dona Ana, a taxi to apt approx 4 € from town. Fishing villages of Burgau, 8km, Salema, 10km, or the sandy beach at Praia de Luz with cafes & bars along the promenade,5km. Close to the apartment are good local amenities, mini markets, cash machine/bank, bars & restaurants. Portimao & Praia de Rocha are to the east & to the west is Cape St Vincent. We have just returned from a 10 day holiday in this fabulous apartment.From the first contact with Denise to the key handover with Andrew everything was handled very professionally.
The Apartment is in a quiet location yet within easy walking distance of 3 local beaches,restaurants, bars and supermarkets.
The photos on the site do not do the apartment justice,it is very clean and spaceous, tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard.It also has all the appliances and utensils you could possibly need.There was also plenty of hot water available, even i managed hot showers after my wife and 2 teenage daughters had been in!!
The pool and gardens are maintained to a high standard and were never crowded, on the 2 days we decided to spend at the apartment we had the pool to ourselves which was amazing for August.
Lagos town which was a 15-20 minute walk has something for everyones tastes,including beaches, shops bars, excellent restaurants and the marina. It really comes alive at night with buskers, street entertainers and has a nice atmosphere.
We didn't hire a car but found the local bus service adequate and reliable for getting around. There is also a train service from Lagos for those wishing to venture further afield.
We have been organising our own holidays for the past 4 years and this is by far the best apartment we have stayed in and we would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone.

We have just returned from our fifth visit to Lagos and it was the best yet, mainly due to this wonderful apartment. It is beautifully presented and very comfortable. We were met by Andrew who explained how everything worked. The apartment was spotless and so well equipped. It is set in well kept gardens and the pool is great. There are many good restaurants within easy walking distance but if you go a bit further into the lovely old town of Lagos the choice is extensive. It is close to several pretty beaches but it was hard to drag ourselves away from the pool which we had to ourselves most of the time.We had two perfect weeks of utter relaxation.

We have just had a lovley holiday staying at casa dona ana apartment. we was greeted by Andrew who showed us around the apartment and was very helpfull, the apartment is spotless,and very roomy it has everything you need the pool & gardens are well kept,and the beaches close by are great, all in all well recomended and great value for money.

I have nothing but praise for this beautiful apartment within easy walking distance of Lagos town centre and surrounding beaches. From the first contact I made with Denise, to arriving home after our week in the apartment, her attention to detail was excellent and she really does want you to enjoy her home in the Algarve. She has every reason to be proud of her home as it is beautifully furnished to an exceptionally high standard and is very comfortable. The photographs on her website are a true reflection of the quality you can expect. Denise's manager, Andrew, was very helpful on our arrival and explained how everything worked, and said we could contact him at any time if we had any problems.

I can honestly say that this is one of, if not, the best apartment we have stayed in.

There are 10 apartments at Farol, but during our visit there was only one other apartment occupied. We felt as if we were in our own private villa, it was so peaceful and quiet.

The beaches around Lagos are really lovely, from small coves to long sandy expanses. There really is something for everyone.

The town of Lagos is a short walk or drive from the apartment and you really are spoilt for choice with the number of restaurants - a couple of our favourites were Don Sebastiao (main street in Lagos) and Portal da Infanta (at the Marina).

We went to the Algarve in April to chill out and relax and we were not disappointed. Even the weather was brilliant.

The apartment is tastefully furnished and very well equipped, we certainly appreciated the wonderful walk in shower! The property was spotless and the local site manager helpful.
The complex was quiet even over Easter and we had the pool almost exclusively to ourselves.
There are easy walks to 2 lovely beaches and we walked into Lagos and its beaches,& to the grottos, on many occasions.
There is a small supermarket within easy walking distance and a larger one- Intermarche- just a short drive away.
I would have no hestitation in recommending this apartment and I hope we will be able to visit again.
