This is a new apartment complex located near the magnificent Marina in Lagos. It is a 2 bed apartment measuring approx 1000sqft with a balcony approx 260sqft. There is a sofa bed in the living area to sleep 2 extra if required. The apartment is on the top floor and is serviced by lift and staircase. There are also 2 secure parking spaces in the basement parking area. There is a fully fitted kitchen to meet all your self catering needs. There is a TV with cable connection. The apartment is cleaned before your arrival and on your departure but we do ask that you care for it during your stay. The complex Marina Park has 24hr security, a 30 metre swimming pool, kiddie pool, bar and cafe. Also kiddies play area and 2 tennis courts. The apartment complex is 5/10 min walk from the wonderful Marina. 15/20 mins from the beach and 10 mins from the shopping area. A wonderful location for children and families.

Lagos is located in the Western Algarve just 50 mins from Faro Airport on the new Motorway. Lagos is a lovely Portuguese fishing town which has a fantastic new Marina. The Marina Park complex is located 600 metres from the Marina within ample walking distance to all the amenities. Lagos has a wonderful sandy beach which has many bars and restaurants on the beach front. Dining out in Lagos is a wonderful experience with the choice of many lovely restaurants. The Marina hosts many bars, cafes and restaurants also. There are 4 great golf courses within 15 mins drive of Lagos. The closest is Palmares just 2 miles away and there is Boa Vista, Parque de Floresta and the Portuguese Open course of 2004 Penina.

This was my third stay at the Marina Park complex in Lagos. The complex is at the top of a short, steep hill so if you have mobility problems and do not have transport this could present a problem. The apartmentsare well equipped and spacious with modern fittings and appliances. A few years use has started to show though and the apartments that are looked after by on-site reception are no longer up to scratch. Our underground parking key did not work and the en-suite toilet kept getting blocked. I think that management should check the apartments and their functionality before renting. The other down side was that another phase of building was underway directly opposite our balcony and the noise and dust from 7:00 - 18:00 became a problem. All of these factors can be addressed when on site but to be honest the hassle factor means that you can either spend a day of your holiday sorting out problems or put up and shut up and not visit Marina Park again. I have chosen the latter.
