Modern, luxury apartment, centrally located within the award winning Lagos Marina with magnificent views overlooking the Marina and old town of Lagos. Conveniently situated within 5 minutes walk of the beach, supermarket and Lagos town and within a 5 minute drive of two excellent golf courses. This light, airy apartment is fully air conditioned with optional heating. The well furnished, spacious interior consists of a comfortable lounge/dining area leading onto a large south facing balcony which is perfect for dining and relaxing. The apartment has two bedrooms - the master bedroom having king size bed and ensuite marble bathroom and a further bedroom with twin beds and a second bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, hob, microwave/grill and washing machine. The apartment is in a secure complex with underground parking, lift and video phone entry. Summer 09 rates include passes to the Marina Club which has a large outdoor pool, sun terrace and children's pool.

The apartment is centrally located in a quiet, secure, modern complex in Lagos Marina; just a short stroll from the Marina's bars, restaurants, shops, children's play area and health club with outdoor pool. The historical, bustling town of Lagos is full of atmosphere and charm and is a 5 minute walk away. Here you can take a stroll along the promenade or around it's narrow cobbled streets; browse in the local shops or relax in one of the pretty squares and watch the world go by. By night, there are lively bars, street entertainers and artists displaying their work. In Lagos you will also find many restaurants and cafes catering for all tastes which remain open all year round making Lagos an ideal location for winter breaks as well as Summer holidays.

Additional information about rental rates

  • June rates apply for Christmas holidays.
    Payment also accepted in euros.
    Non refundable deposit of 20% required to confirm booking.
    Balance due 8 weeks prior to departure. £100 security deposit required with final payment which will be returned within one week after departure. The apartment will be available from 2 pm on day of arrival and should be vacated by 10 am on day of departure. We will always try and accommodate any variations on these times. The apartment is managed by an English couple living in Lagos who will meet you with the keys and show you around the apartment. They are contactable during your stay. Transport to and from the airport can be arranged at a small charge.
  • For summer 07 (May onwards) rates will also include complimentary passes to the Marina Club which is a few minutes walk from the apartment. The Marina Club has a lovely, large outdoor pool with sun loungers, a children's pool and a sun terrace. Drinks are served around the pool and you can also order lunch or snacks.
  • Please note prices are inclusive of electricity.

Notes: The apartment is situated on the third floor. There is a lift from the underground car park (allocated car parking space) to the third floor. The large, sunny balcony is ideal for al fresco dining or for sunbathing and has a large outdoor table and chairs together with sun loungers. There is ample comfortable seating in the lounge and dining area. A travel cot and high chair are available. Ironing board, iron and hair dryer are provided. Linen and towels provided (not beach towels). Changeover days are flexible. For Summer 07 season guests have access to the Marina Club health facilities. This includes a large outdoor pool, a children's pool, sun loungers and sun terrace. There is a well stocked supermarket just 5 minutes walk from the apartment.

Beaches: The large sandy beach of Meia Praia is a short walk from the apartment. This beautiful, white sandy beach stretches for 4 miles and remains uncrowded even in the height of Summer when you can hire umbrellas and sunbeds. There are several beach bars/restaurants where you can purchase drinks/snacks or sit and enjoy a long lazy lunch or dinner overlooking the sea. At the Marina visitors can book activities including diving, water skiing, fishing and boat trips around the coastline. Many other beautiful beaches and picturesque coves with good facilities are just a short drive away. A little further afield are the wild and beautiful beaches of the west coast.

Day Trips: Lagos is an ideal base from which to explore the Algarve. There are days out to suit everyone all within a 30 minute drive of Lagos. For the young at heart try the Slide and Splash Park at Lagoa with it's many water slides and chutes. Visit the historic fortress at Cape St Vincent with views of the west coast. Take a drive up into the mountains at Monchique where you can take lunch whilst admiring the views. For shopping - try the centre at Gaia or take the train from Lagos to Portimao. From the Marina book a place on the Dolphin Safari and go in search of dolphins.

Golf: There are several well known golf courses within a short drive of Lagos; Palmares being the closest (5 minutes drive). A 20 minute drive to the West leads to Boa Vista and Parque de Floresta and to the East there is Penina and Alto.

We have a book in the apartment where we encourage visitors to write comments together with favourite restaurants, places to visit etc. These are just some of the comments we have received: We have stayed in a number of apartments, townhouses etc throughout Europe and the USA. Your property in Lagos is the best we have ever stayed in. We had a wonderful time. John Browning Your apartment was superb and fitted all our needs. The balcony was a sun trap. Arrived in Faro Airport, got local bus to train station where we got a train to Lagos. This is a regular service and cost €6.15 per adult. Apartment close to train station about 10 minutes walk. Lovely apartment, clean and well-maintained. Good customer service provided. Enjoyed the use of pool in the Marina Club. Food and drink very reasonably priced. Lovely restaurants in the old town with good meal deals. I would have no hesitation in recommending to my friends.

A lovely apartment with a large balcony which gets sun all day. Nice new cafe Vue cafe nearby with friendly people running it. A lovely place to stay in lovely Lagos

Had a fantastic time in this apartment, it's well locted near the beach and the town. The facilities are all there, the balcony is massive and you get the sun most of the day. The passes to the complex next door allowing you to use the pool and facilities are an excellent extra. Loads of places to eat out all good quality. I would recommend this property.

Excellent rental option in Marina area

Myself, hubby and two kids (7 and 4) had excellent holiday in Lagos. We are familiar with the area and love it - the apartment was all we hoped. An excellent location- fabulous large balcony - a suntrap with lovely direct views of the Marina. The apartment was spacious and a real home from home. While very tastefully decorated and spotless we were able to relax in it and not panic about kids touching anything (mainly ikea furnished).

Friends of the owner's picked us up and dropped us to the airport and dealt brilliantly when in error the electricity was cut off and we had a problem with keys.

We would highly recommend apartment to families. From the inital contact with owner to all dealings with the couple that manage the property - all smooth sailing.
