Just a 10 minute walk from the apartment is Meia Praia, one of the longest and least blemished stretches of sandy beach in the Algarve. Here water sports enthusiasts are spoilt for choice and other leisure facilities nearby include five eighteen hole golf courses, tennis courts and horse riding centres, all within a 20 minute drive.

Notes to the rental rates

• For Easter, Christmas and New Year Holidays, rate same as September.
  A car is also available at very reasonable rates. Please contact us via the email for more details.
  
• Rental rates include complimentary, unlimited access to the Marina Club, which is only two minutes walk from the apartment, which includes a 30m outdoor pool and children’s pool. Sun loungers and poolside waiter service and a superb sun terrace where you can eat lunch or just drinks or snacks. A smoke alarm has been fitted for your peace of mind. Airport transport can be arranged, please ask for details. We can also offer very competitive car hire rates, please ask us for a quote.
  
• Discounted long-term winter lets available. Flexible on changeover days in low season. 20% deposit required to confirm booking. Balance due eight weeks prior to arrival. £150 security deposit required with final payment. Returned within one week after departure, please note the deposit will not be used against any small breakages such as crockery.
  The apartment will be available from 2pm on day of arrival and should be vacated by 10am on day of departure. We will try to accommodate any reasonable variations on these timings where other booking commitments allow.

Golf Information

There are 5 well-known golf courses in the Lagos area. Palmares course is a mere 5 minutes drive away, an 18 hole par 72 that perfectly combines coast and mountain scenery. To the west, Boa Vista (18 hole par 71) and Parque de Floresta (18 hole par 72) golf courses are 20 minutes drive. To the east, there are two more golf courses, Penina (18 hole par 73) and Alto, also around 20 minutes drive.

Getting around & things to do

There is a large supermarket, 3 mins walk from the apartment. There is a daily fresh fish market in the town & on Saturdays there is a local market. There are open-air summer concerts at the amphitheatre. The cultural centre of Lagos frequently has recitals & art exhibitions. Lagos cinema shows the latest films in English. The fort & moat at the entrance to the harbour, baroque church of St Anthony, art galleries in the old slave market building, Zoo & the Museum of Lagos are worth a visit. Within a 30mins drive there are several water & theme parks. The Marina offers boat cruises & fabulous dolphin safaris.
