A large 3 bedroom apartment in a convenient location, our family holiday home is kept in good condition with modern furnishings. Convenient for Meia Praia beach or Marina which are just 5mins away, or a short walk to the town centre. The large lounge comprises TV, DVD / CD and seating for 6 with access to a long balcony; ideal for enjoying breakfast or an aperitif. Master double bedroom has en-suite bath/shower room & wardrobes. Second bedroom has double bed, wardrobes & patio doors to the balcony. Third bedroom has 2 single beds & wardrobes. There is a 2nd bathroom with bath & shower. The large kitchen / diner has a table & 6 chairs, dishwasher, microwave, gas cooker, oven, and fridge, separate utility with washing machine. There is an enclosed pool area across from the apartment, guests must arrange passess locally. Most guests favour the fabulous local beaches therefore to keep rental prices low pool passes are payable locally.

Located 5 mins from the Marina, Meia Praia beach is a 10 minute walk away, the town centre has lots of shops, restaurants and bars and is very cosmopolitan, you can walk to the the town in just 10 minutes. Nearest golf course is 5 minutes drive. Watersports available at all local beaches.

Getting Around : We recommend people hire a car when they visit Lagos, because its generally cheaper than transfers and handy for exploring some of the best beaches in the algarve, many of which are only a short trip. There are many golf courses close by (approx 15 mins away) some of the most popular include: Palmares, Boavista, Alto Club & Parque da Floresta.

Excellent apartment with all necessary facilities.
Great location for Lagos town centre, Marina, and beach.
Excellent on-hand customer service if or when required.
Ideal for variety of visitors based on having 3 beds and 2 baths with large comfortable lounge and great sized kitchen/dining room. Would recommend strongly and we plan to return sometime soon.
At time of our visit the pool/swimming area availability was subject to seasonal opening times.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway

Spacious apartment with lovely furniture and everything you could need to hand. Good location, just 5 - 10 minutes walk to the marina and another 5 minutes to town. Quiet location with friendly local cafe which was great for breakfast.

Beautiful flat, super holiday

We had two weeks in this property in July/August 2008. We were very pleased with the size and spaciousness of the place and thought it was very well equipped. The pool/tennis court area was a major bonus (literally a stone's throw away) and surprisingly quiet for high season. The large balcony was perfect for a relaxing drink in the evening. Overall, we had a very enjoyable holiday and Lagos itself was fantastic, with its super restaurants/shops, beautiful marina and plenty of activities/excursions.

We didn't think the property was in an especially salubrious location (lots of scrubland and building work around) and shops/bars in the immediate vicinity are limited. Also, we thought the times/distances for walking to the beach and town centre were massively understated on the website. Allow at least 20 minutes (to both town centre/beach, on foot) and you won't go far wrong. There is also quite a steep hill to climb if you are walking back from the Marina/Town (not great when you're carrying food shopping and probably a bit of a bind for anyone infirm or with small children). We realised that everyone (British) staying in the area had a rental car and this was probably very wise in the summer heat.

Setting aside the distances issue though, we'd definitely recommend this property and we think it's great value for money. Also, the owners were very friendly and efficient in dealing with our booking and queries prior to our stay. We may well return.
