Large and luxurious 3 bedroom apartment in a modern development near Lagos

This lovely apartment is situated in the modern development of Pinhal de Meia Praia, within 5 minutes walking distance of the famous Meia Praia beach with its soft golden sands stretching from the Alvor estuary to the town of Lagos. There is a spacious lounge/dining room with high standard furnishings and patio doors lead out onto a large balcony which can be used as an additional dining area. The apartment has a total of 3 bedrooms, all brightly decorated, the master bedroom has a double bed and there is plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. It also has its own en-suite shower room. The other 2 bedrooms are twin, also with plenty of wardrobe space. There is a full separate bathroom which serves these 2 bedrooms. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. This modern complex has its own swimming pool for adults and a smaller pool for children and there is a bar where snacks and refreshments can be obtained.

Within walking distance, the historic town of Lagos has a spectacular coastline and there are numerous beaches to explore. The town is quite charming, its old town walls keeping modern development to acceptable limis and providing the visitor with an enchanting mixture of old and new. The daily fish market and the Saturday garden produce market are a must for those wishing to eat in the apartment after a busy day on the beach. Eating out requires that difficult choice - which of the many excellent restaurants to choose. They serve a variety of tasty dishes such as grilled fish, grilled king sized prawns with hot sauces, accompanied by fine Portuguese wine. Inland, the area is fascinating with mountains, valleys and rivers. Two water theme parks are within an easy drive of the apartment. There are some good golf courses within a short drive of the apartment.

There is a unit containing a wide selection of books as well as a TV, DVD player and hi-fi unit. There are selections of CDs and DVDs for the use of tenants. The balcony faces south and so has the sun for most of the day, making it an ideal place to both sunbathe and to have all your meals. The barbecue on the balcony is ideal for cooking and eating some super meals outside as the sun goes down.

The area Pinhal de Meia Praia is situated approximately 3 kms from the nearest town of Lagos. This charming town has a historical background going back to the time of the Portuguese Discoveries and became a Naval Centre from where caravels left to discover new worlds such as Africa & America. It is now an important fishing & tourist centre with a new Marina thus bringing visitors from all over Europe. There are plenty of historic places of interest to visit such as the Santo António Church, classified as a national monument because of all the carved gilded woodwork from the 18th and 19th C, the Ponta da Bandeira Fort situated on the entrance of the harbour with its chapel and rooms with exhibitions relating to the Portuguese Discoveries, The Slave Market etc.

The balance of the payment is to be paid 6 weeks ahead of your stay in the apartment. When you arrive, you will be met in Lagos and taken to the apartment.
