Situated in a development of 36 apartments with large communal pool, children's pool and tennis court, set in well kept lawned gardens. Beautifully furnished, with 3 large balconies, 2 of which have both sea and pool views, these are equipped with facilities for alfresco dining and sunbeds, to just lie and relax. The entrance to the apartment is controlled by video phone. There is a lift outside the main entrance which gives access to the pool area. The local shops, beach, bars and restaurants are a all within easy walking distance. The apartment has full air conditioning for summer and heating for winter time.

Praira da Luz is one of the Algarves most up and coming resorts. Situated just 5 km west of the busy town of Lagos, with its many shops, restaurants and bars. It was once an old fishing village, which has now developed into a small holiday resort, but yet still retained its character. The beach is one of the best on the Algarve overlooked by the magnificent coloured cliffs. The area has many interesting places to visit, the mountain spa of Monchique, Cape St. Vincent, the most westerly point of mainland Europe. Lisbon and Seville can be reached in 3 hours.

Notes: This is a very large apartment with large balconies,beautifully furnished and fully equipped. The dining table has seating for 6 people.The lounge area has 2 large settes, which seats 6 people,these convert into double beds for additional guests,satellite TV,video/DVD player and coffee table.Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes,the twin room has portable TV and DVD player.The property has a seperate kitchen fully equipped.All linen and towels are provided,these are changed weekly and there is a weekly maid cleaning service.Guests are required to supply their own beach towels. All guests will be greeted by my local management company,who will always be on hand to help deal with any problems that they may encounter during their stay.

Around the area: The western Algarve is famous for its coastal scenery and wonderful beaches.Ideal for children with many attractions.There are two large water parks,the Zoo marine is the best ocean theme park in southern Europe.There are many beaches within easy reach,Meia Praia,Dona Ana,Batata and many more.Visit the open air markets, which travel from town to town offering a wide range of merchandise at inexpensive prices.

Golf: The Algarve is a golfers paradise.There are many courses within easy reach,The Boa Vista,the newest and much praised course,just 5 minutes drive.The Parque da Floresta, a very attractive complex set in the foothills,Palmeiras, very picturesque,which has five unique link holes along the back of the dunes,Penina,famous course designed by Henry Cotton, all these are within 20 minutes drive.

Additional information on getting to Praia da Luz: It is situated just 45 minutes drive from Faro International Airport via the A22 motorway.Car hire can be arranged via Luzcar-your car can be collected at Faro airport,where a representative will meet you in arrivals hall,drop of is at the airport on your return.Further details available on request.Alternatively,a taxi can be hired at the airport.Getting around could not be easier,there is bus service into Lagos, or a taxi can be hired in the centre of Luz. A car is not necessary to reach the beach,restaurants and bars,but it will allow visitors the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful coastline,secluded beaches and the many other attractions on the Western Algarve.
