The apartment is within easy walking distance of the village, supermarket, blue flag beach, shops, sports facilities and over 20 restaurants. The town of Lagos is only a 5Km drive or 10 minute bus ride away, it has lots of shops, numerous restaurants, a marina and the availability of many day trips. Two golf courses Parque da Floresta 7Km drive and Boavista 2Km from the apartment. Praia da Luz is a small village in typical Portuguese style with whitewashed buildings and cobbled streets. The village also has a 17century coastal fort now a restaurant with spectacular views. The church of Nossa Senhora da Luz (Our lady of the light) from which the village takes its name is set within the centre.
