All windows and patio doors have retractable secuirity grills fitted. It is centrally located in the village with a well stocked supermarket only 2 minutes walk away and the wonderful sandy beach is only a 6 minute stroll away. There is off-road private parking spaces to the rear and the main door is reached through a lockable gated entrance. All pubs, shops restaurants are within easy reach and a car is not required. A bus service is available if you want to explore further than Praia Da Luz.

The apartment is centrally located in the fishing village of Praia Da Luz which means 'beach of light' and is a few kilometers west of the historic town of Lagos. Further west are several old, easily accessible fishing villages until you come to Sagres and cape St. Vincent which is the the furthest point of land in western Europe. Almost all the pubs and restaurants stay open all year and provide wonderful drinks and meals to suit all tastes both Portuguese and European and are just a few minutes walk. This is an ideal location for winter breaks as well as summer holidays.

The apartment is managed by an English couple living in nearby who will meet you with the keys and show you around the apartment. They can also pick you up at the airport for 55 Euros and they are contactable during your stay.

We had a splendid two weeks break in ' Luz ' a charming coastal village that we have been to on a number of times in the past 20 years. We went with our daughter and her boyfriend and were delighted with the spacious accommodation and great location of this ground floor flat.

Everything needed was there for our use. The owners obviously consider this their home and have thought of all the little things needed to make our stay trouble free and easy going. Unlike like some of the apartments that we have rented over the years. There was even a good selection of English novels and some classic DVDs to while away the 'stay in ' nights.

The property was clean and well maintained and had a great view from the rear balcony onto the sea. There is a large patio at the rear for sun worshippers.

We did not stay in very often however as we a few minutes walk away from one of the most beautiful strips of coast in the Algarve. The village itself has an abundance of good Restaurants and Bars but, thankfully, is not as busy as most of the Tourist Praias on the coast. the location however we found perfect for days out to the surrounding attractions and only a 45 minute drive to Faro airport.

We thoroughly enjoyed our break and in the conversations we had with the owner and his wife they went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

I would recommend this accommodation without any hesitancy and the proof is that we are returning to this apartment in the Autumn.

We are going back to the same apartment!! Can't fault a thing, great resort, accommodation to a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. well maintained property. Great views from both balcony's. including some beautiful sunsets! paved garden area for sole use, sunbeds and patio furniture provided. Met on arrival by the owners caretakers, Val and Trevor, lovely people, very hospitable, offered to meet us at the airport, we hired a car, but not essential. The owners, had lots of booklets/leaflets to highlight local services including, the bus service, restaurants and supermarkets, it was really useful to have local knowledge. Restaurants, shopping precinct, supermarket and beach, are all only a short stroll away. Recommending The Lime Tree, The Fort and Marujo, try the tipsy chicken!! (would advise booking to avoid disappointment ) good beach front restaurants, great food!. Irish Pub newly opened, gaining popularity. Jazz bars are also popular here. plenty nightlife, but not intrusive if you prefer a quieter time. Supermarket just yards away,.Morning rolls are baked daily, but be quick, they sell fast!. Fruit, vegetables and fish are sourced locally and very fresh. The local butcher has great steaks, if you feel like cooking. We saw kids of all ages, snorkelling, hang gliding, flying trips over the bay, water skiing, volley ball on the beach, balloon trips, being dragged on a giant tyre through the surf by speedboat, screaming with delight! all the bucket and spade activities, including searching the rock pools for crab and small prawns, or just soaking up the sun. Locals and tourists out for an evening stroll along the promenade were very friendly, and enjoyed recommending the bars and clubs they had visited, altogether a really great experience.

the discriptionof this apartment was accurate and true the location is central not far by taxi to visit lagos. the layout of the apartment is excellent,the amenties in the apartment had everything we needed and more. the property is well maintained bright,fresh,clean,bedding clean travel cot for my 5mth grandson we all slept well at night quiet at night. the owner was very helpful.i would reccomend this property, we liked the beach sand,shops,outdoor cafes,live music friendly people.restaurants we wnt to four service ,food good also entertainment.we went in mayweather mixed but warm.will go back most enjoyable holiday.
