A further terrace outside each bedroom is ideal for private sunbathing. The beach and traditional village of Luz are just 5 minutes walk away, where there are restaurants bars supermarkets and all the amenities necessary for a carefree holiday.

Less than an hours drive from Faro airport, the apartment is ideally situated in the small friendly village of Praia da Luz. A 5km drive to the east takes you to the picturesque historic town of Lagos with its shops, narrow cobbled streets and modern marina. Further to the east you can enjoy a day out at one of the regions water parks, or visit Zoomarine where you will be entertained by the clever dolphins. To the west you can explore some of the Algarves natural coastline such as the small fishing village of Burgau, or visit Sagres and Cape St Vincent, the most westerly point in Europe. Travelling further north approximately 40km will take you to the scenic Serra da Monchique mountains and beautiful old spa town of Caldos do Monchique.

Our comfortable: The holiday apartment is located in a small select development, just 5 minutes walk from the safe sandy beach and pretty village of Praia da Luz, where you will find all the amenities you need for a relaxing holiday. A car is not necessary, however you may like to hire a car and explore some of the nearby places of interest and the unspoiled Portuguese culture. A brand new attraction to the Algarve is the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve FIA motor sport circuit, located about 20 minutes away, just north of the A22 at Mexilhoeira Grande. Golf: A very popular sporting activity in the Algarve and within a few minutes drive there are three excellent golf courses, one of which is the famous Championship Boavista course, being only 5 minutes drive away. Both Palmares and Parque da Floresta golf courses are just 10 minutes drive by car.

A lovely family holiday.

Very quiet complex (10 properties) with a lovely pool area for adults and children. The apartment is very well maintained with a high standard of fixtures and furnishings. We had a fabulous family holiday here, and we were totally relaxed from the moment we arrived. The apartment is exactly as it is descriped and Dave was very helpful with information and booking, his daughter also checked in on us to ensure everything was ok. Luz is an excellent base to explore the region with plenty of excursions to keep the children happy, but here we also found time for relaxing by the pool. We stayed in June and often had the pool area to ourselves, 'bliss'.
We often walked (5mins) down to the promenade for our evening meals, however the restaurants nearby were excellent and the cafe jasmin en-route was a great place for a nightcap, coffee or ice-cream.
Thanks Dave and Gill for the rental of your apartment we would certainly recommend to others and look forward to returning to apt 'm'.

A fantastic place to stay in Praia da Luz! With two pools in the shared garden area,a private terrace and all mod cons,the apartment is far and away the best one we have stayed in over the course of our many visits to this area. It is clean, spacious, well appointed and warm (particularly important for us as we visit in winter!). The service prior to and during our stay was excellent.It is difficult to leave the terrace and pool area in the morning, but well worth it to explore the local area. The family friendly resort of Praia da Luz offers a beautiful beach, many bars and restaurants and easy access to buses into the nearby town of Lagos. Find time to visit the west coast beaches too for truly stunning views of Portugal's almost deserted beaches. A surfer's paradise! The whole of the Algarve is bursting with things to do and places to go - something for everyone here. The only problem is that the apartment is so comfortable it is tempting just to stay put and enjoy relaxing in it! A real home from home.

Wonderful apartment in very nice development handy for the beaches and very good resturants. The bus stopped outside for easy travel.Nothing but excellant reports for this holiday and the owners were wonderful giving precise
directions and information which were correct to the last detail. Beautiful area. Would be nice if the pool was heated though!
