A two bedroomed 1st floor apartment at The Ocean Club's Club complex having superb views from the balcony of the gardens and pool and the hill opposite to the left and a view of the sea to the right. Guests have full membership of The Ocean Club, this includes the 5 swimming pools which have sun umbrellas, sun loungers, pool bar and landscaped gardens with coloured flowers, shrubs and lawns. There are also five tennis courts. Well situated for golfing holidays, beach and walks.

The accommodation is comfortably furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. The dining table seats 7 indoors or there is a large patio table and chairs on the balcony for outdoor dining. The lounge seats 7. There are oscillating fans for the summer, and electric heaters in all rooms for winter. Each bedroom has built in wardrobe storage. There is a personal safe in the wardrobe.

Gas and electricity are charged extra £15 per week during winter (Nov to end March). 5th person/child £45 per week extra. cots or high chair on request and free.

A little piece of Heaven on Earth

Just arrived back from a perfect holiday in this fantastic apartment in a charming village.
The owners have thought of everything that a family could need on holiday providing a real home away from home. From the safe provided for valuables right down to lidded stoarge containers for a packed lunch at the beach. Everything is beautifully maintained, comfortable and clean. Very spacious and light with a great balcony that gets sun and shade.On arrival we found bread, milk, orange juice, butter, jam, ham and eggs all provided as well as tea, coffee, sugar and a very welcome bottle of wine. Lots of storage space for those of us who fail to travel light. Clean towels appeared on a regular basis and the kitchen is well stocked with any kitchen implement you could need.
The small friendly village is full of lovely shops and places to eat and drink. The supermarket has everything you could possibly need, the fresh fruit and veg is wonderful and the deli counter is great. The club facilities are brilliant with beautiful pools and gardens, tennis and mountain biking for the more active. Proof that there is something for everyone is that both me and my 10 year old son can't wait to go back!

This is a very comfortable apartment in a lovely spot. The welcome food pack was very much appreciated as were the china teacups! This was our fourth visit to the Ocean Club, which, I think, says it all.

Family summer holiday

I stayed at this apartmet during Summer holidays with my wife and two kids (ages 10 and 14).

The apartament was very clean, spacious and well equipped, in a very quiet environment. All the complex services (swimming pool, restaurant, tennis courts, ...) were at very short distance.

It is located at walk distance from the local beach (which was quite cold for my taste), and with good access by car to Lagos beaches. We usually went to Meia Praia, which is very big, not so beautifull as others, but with warmer water.

For more beautiful beaches it is better to go to the West coast. Praia Marinha is also very good.

We would also like to recommend Burgau, a village near Praia da Luz, with plenty of restaurants. Beach Bar is well known but it has to be booked with several days in advance (we could not get there finally, as it was full booked for several days ahead). As an alternative we found the restaurant D.Dinis with a very good quality/price ratio.

Good clean, comfortable well equipped apartment on first floor. Maid service three times a week made us keep the place tidy.

Complex on which sited well located with friendly staff. Access Ocean club for Tennis, Swim Pool and beach sports facilities worked well. (charges apply except for pool)

Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Although Restaurants in Lagos and surrounding villages are better value.

If intend to laze around and do little, its possible to manage without a car, as local bus service to Lagos good during the day. No buses in the evening so down to taxis. Journey from airport not cheap if traveling by taxi.

If like us you prefer sightseeing and visiting fabulous west coast surf beaches (20 mins by car) are car is essential. Also opens up better choice of restaurants.
