I am very happy to be contacted by e-mail or by telephone for advice re - anything to do with the area, apartment, travel, car hire etc. I think it is very important for any prospective clients to have as much information as they wish about any planned holiday. Direct flights are available from all main UK airports. The closest airport is Faro (under 1 hour by car). The newly opened Algarve motorway comes to within around 4 miles of Vila Da Luz. Restaurants etc

Vila Da Luz is relatively small but still has around 75 restaurants and bars. They cater for all tastes, (and wallets !) with seafood obviously being a very important part of the menu. Since travelling to Portugal I have discovered that travelling only short distances from the main 'tourist' areas can be rewarded both with the standard of the cuisine and the significantly lower prices. I am happy to advice on where to find some of these restaurants.

Golf Information:

Golf in the Western Algarve is freely available and offers excellent value for money. I am a golfer and have played a number of the local courses. Boavista- (3 mins by car) Cost- 30 euros (low season) 40 euros (high season) Palmares (15 mins by car) Cost 40 euros (low season) 60 euros(high)-often used for the Portuguese open. Multitude of other courses within around 25 mins drive including Parque Da Fioresta (15 mins) ,Penina and Morgado Please contact me directly for more advice. .
