Fabulous sea view townhouse in Praia de Luz

The property is located in a smart complex of only 26 houses within enclosed private gardens and own parking space. The house has spectacular sea views from the roof terrace with glorious sunsets, stunning communal pool, 2 double bedrooms (hair dryer) with wardrobes. There's a terrace off the master bedroom, 2 bathrooms, spacious open plan lounge with 6 seater dining area, a woodburning stove, fully fitted kitchen with oven, hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, kettle, iron and ironing board. The property is equipped with digital TV channels and DVD, music CD with MP3 link, terrace and patio furniture with BBQ. Bed linen and house towels are provided. Please bring your own towels for the beach/pool. To lighten your suitcase, we supply tissues, cotton pads, Q-tips, shower gel and other homely comforts. For long stays, there's an optional cleaner available (extra charge) who will freshen up the house and change sheets and towels. Please, no smoking inside property

Location

Praia da Luz is a small town with a beautiful beach and sea front and is located 5 kilometres from the larger town of Lagos. There are many superb restaurants offering a range of well-priced food, beach cafes, bars, cash machines, a bank, medical centre and supermarkets - the nearest and most interesting being 5 minutes walk away. The beach is attractive, sandy and flat with large cliffs to the left, and is half a mile long. Water sports available in the summer months. Sun beds and parasols can be hired for a small fee. A promenade running the length of the beach is fringed with palm trees and various cafes. There are many good golf courses close to Praia de Luz the nearest two being Boavista and Parque de Floresta which are amongst the best in Europe. The sand-duned beaches on the west coast, 45 minutes drive, provide brilliant surfing and parascending. Lively club scene in Lagos - 6 to 10 euros in a taxi. Relaxation is available in Monchique at the well-known spa.

    Full rent is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival date.
    Deposit will be returned after checking for breakages etc. and safe return of keys.
    Cancellations - deposit returned if booking cancelled 12 weeks prior to arrival.
    Check out time 10 AM, Check in not before 3 PM.
  • Long term rentals earn special discounts, too.
  • We have had long and short term visitors staying at the house.
    Some people are happy with a long weekend, and for some 6 weeks is still not enough to get to know this lovely area.

Another fantastic day out is Zoomarine at which you can watch the various shows or even arrange to swim with the Dolphins.

Transport from Faro airport

A private car can be arranged at a cost of about 70 euros. Car hire can be arranged in Praia da Luz area. Details from owners on +44 1904 345404. One bit of news just in is that there is a new bus service that stops at the hotel opposite, its one of those city bus routes that charge one Euro per trip or three euros for a day ticket enabling you to get on and off all day long. We’ve only just heard about this ourselves from out latest guests, so we will investigate in May on our visit.
