'Casa Maurice' is ideally located just behind the Meia Praia beach, in a hamlet of deluxe villas in Albadeira Parque. The position of this modern villa ensures that you benefit from privacy in attractive surroundings, with the advantage that the beach, marina and town are all just a short walk away. The fabulous 'Marina de Lagos' features many excellent restaurants, bars and deli cafes, in a wonderful setting amidst dozens of boats. The old town of Lagos is accessed across the swing bridge in within the Marina enabling you to explore the beach marina and town easily on foot. Beautiful, tranquil, & secluded are words which sum up this Villa and its location. The excellent heated swimming pool is 42ft in length. Due to the villas ideal location a car is not essential during your holiday, although, if you would like to explore a little further afield, there are excellent beaches available within walking distance of the Villa, with the famous Meia Praia just ten minutes stroll away.

The Owners are flexible with arrival and departure dates and times and will ensure that the Villa has been cleaned thoroughly prior to your arrival with clean linen and towels a priority, fresh milk and water is provided free of charge and is available on request. Lifts to and from the Airport can also be arranged for non drivers. The English Owners pride themselves in customer service and have extensive knowledge of the Area. Full information packs are sent to clients upon the receipt of the initial deposit, the information packs include journey routes to and from the Airport, local places of interest and even include a star * rated guide to local restaurant dining.

Notes to the rental rates

  • To ensure a booking the owner requires just £200 deposit cheque, upon which a confirmation letter and full information pack detailing everything you will need to know about the property, will be sent to you by return. The remainder is required 16 weeks prior to your holiday. Changeover day is normally a Saturday. If you are staying for a two week period all linen, bedding and a refresh of the villa is provided after seven days by our English management team. Swimming pool heating is charged at cost only at £80 per week.

The family bathrooms on the ground floor and first floors have inbuilt shower facilities within the enclosure and also have wash basin and toilet. There are two bidet's within the family bathroom on the first floor and the master ensuite facility respectively. The downstairs twin bedded room has a shower cubicle and wash basin and toilet. There is an external garden shower for bathers situated at the corner of the swimming pool garden directly opposite the heated pool.

  • Each of the bedrooms within this luxury villa are furnished with matching beds, wardrobes, twin bedside cabinets, chest of drawers and dressing chairs where required. There are 3 large double bedrooms, and 2 twin bedrooms. The accommodation comprises of a ground floor double bedroom with adjacent family bathroom and a below floor games room facility which incorporates an adjacent twin bedroom, with ensuite shower room. On the first floor there are three adjacent bedrooms, each bedroom features two large sliding glass doors with in built mosquito nets. These large glass doors open out to a large outdoor terraced balcony. This balcony is a great place to meet and great in the morning, the balcony over looks the ground floor pool terrace and private swimming pool. The three bedrooms comprise of a master double bedroom, with ensuite facilities, a large double bedroom and a twin bedroom. These two bedrooms are adjacent to a family bathroom with shower facility, wash basin toilet and bidet.

Notes:

The Villa has both a front/side gardens & additional garden areas around the rear of the property adjacent to the swimming pool c/w garden shower. There are also flowerbeds positioned around the BBQ area. With elegant palm trees on the side garden and an automatic irrigation system to ensure the flowers and manicured grass are kept in ideal condition all year around. The separate terraces are enjoying the sunshine with the large swimming pool measuring 39 feet by 19 feet providing lots of fun. A pool man arrives twice weekly to ensure the pool is kept clean and is monitored for a correct chemical balance. The well lit and relaxing separate BBQ area is popular with guests and often used for outdoor breakfast as the kitchen is directly accessible to and from the BBQ area. The upstairs terrace is adjacent to the three double bedrooms situated along its length, giving guests the opportunity to have breakfast or pre dinner drink upstairs on the balcony, overlooking the pool and terraces.

Flexibility of accommodation and disabled access

The owners welcome comments from guests and aim to provide a quality accommodation experience. The accommodation within the large bedrooms can be altered to suit an individual requirements. i.e the position of twin bedded rooms, or double bedded rooms etc. A disabled access ramp can be provided, from the entrance gate, with accommodation available on the ground floor for disabled persons, with direct access to the garden areas & swimming pool, kitchen,bbq terrace, lounge & private bedroom. 'Got back today from the villa. We had a fantastic holiday which was mainly because Casa Maurice is absolutely stunning. It far exceeded our expectations. The weather really went well for us and having the pool meant that during the day we didn't often venture too far from the terrace. We did have a look at the beautiful beaches in the area but as expected the sea was way too cold for us brits so back to our villa we happily went' Many thanks again. A new Games room has been installed in the completely refurbished lower ground floor, a key is supplied for the games room at a nominal fee of only £40 per holiday duration. Complete with a twin bedroom adjacent with ensuite shower, this excellent centrally heated facility comprises of a full size pool table (slate bed), table football, table tennis and electronic darts, the games room will be popular with adults and children of all ages!

Just a brief message to say thank you and how much we enjoyed Casa Maurice. After the first day the weather was as good as we could have asked. The area was delightful and the villa was lovely, we got to experience both golf courses. It was a very enjoyable time and i can envisage us being repeat customers for you.
