Fantastic Townhouse

My wife and I have recently returned from a 1 week stay here.
Although this site so far has only 2 reviews, the guest book in the townhouse itself has many positive reviews with no negatives. Everyone who has stayed here seems to love it.
We were no different. The townhouse is on 3 levels, entrance hall kitchen, toilet (with shower), lounge / dining area with 2 double patio doors leading onto an outdoor dining area. There is sky tv which give you all the channels you would get at home and more.
Upstairs are 2 double bedrooms (one with a balcony that you can sit out on) each bedroom has double sliding wardrobes with shelves. There is a large family bathroom complete with shower / bath.
Upstairs again takes you out onto the flat roof. The walled roof is tiled and is large enough for several people to sunbathe, which we did every day. The views are magnificent, looking down over Praia Da Luz and out to sea.
The townhouse is quite new and is spotlessly clean. I cannot say a bad word about this accommodation and I would recommend it to anyone.
There is a magnificent pool which is split into 3 parts, one of which is shallow and well protected / separated from the deeper pool.
The location is good. From the townhouse you can walk down into the main part of the town where there are plenty of restaurants and places to get a drink. Don't be put off because you have to walk downhill into the town, its a gentle slope. You pass the supermarket as you walk into the town, its very well equipped but perhaps a little expensive (Go into Lagos and there are several big supermarkets that are cheaper and have a huge variety, especially fresh fish and bread)
Everyone has their own food tastes so my recommendation might not suit all, however there is a restaurant / bar called the 'Duke' which we ate in a couple of times. They do a carvery twice a week which includes a starter and sweet for about 10 euros each. You will not be disappointed. The standard and quantity of food was very impressive. We ate at other restaurants and paid double for average food. The bar itself is tastefully decorated, large TVs for sporting events and leather couches to relax on. I can recommend their breakfasts, cheap and great quality. I think it is British owned and there it seems very popular with the British residents there, it has a real family atmosphere.
There is no doubt whatsoever that we will return, not only to Praia Da Luz, but if its available, this accommodation.
Thankyou.
