Looking for something different, Casa Funchal is a unique Farmhouse style single story villa. Full of charm and character both inside and out. There is a large private Heated pool surrounded with mature trees and terraces and a covered barbeque area with separate kitchen for al-fresco dining. Casa Funchal is situated on the exclusive Funchal ridge with panoramic views especially from the large pool house roof terrace, to the Monchique mountains and to Alvor bay. It is in a unique position being only 4 km from Lagos and beautiful beaches yet giving a great deal of privacy and tranquility. Ideal for families and children. Casa Funchal is priced as a 5 bedroom villa and it is ideal for 2 families or large groups. The villa can also be used as a 3 bedroom in the low and mid season sleeping a maximum of 6 persons . Prices as tariff minus 25 %. The villa is priced for up to 10 persons and a 5% charge is added for extra persons. There is a wireless internet connection for a laptop.

Lagos is situated on the western Algarve on the south coast with easy access to the rugged west coast famous for surfing and access to numerous golf courses and water sports. Although busy in the summer, there are many small coves for those who wish to get away from it all. There is a motorway linking Lagos to Faro Airport 1hour. And also Lisbon is within 3 hr drive . There are many places to explore within a 1hr drive to include the Mountains and Lakes and the old capital of Silves .

Additional information about rental rates

  • Long term winter rates available from End October until mid March from £ 250 per week please enquire by email with your dates and we will give you a quote.
    The normal changeover day is Saturday but we are flexible outside of peak season. A 20% deposit is required on booking, full payment 8 weeks before rental period.
    A returnable cash deposit of a £150 is required for key and minor breakages.
    Arrival after 3pm on day of rental depart 10am on day of leaving.
  • The villa is priced on up to 10 people sharing, a charge of 5% per person for extra beds up to a maximum of 12 plus a cot at no charge using five bedrooms. The villa is available as a 3 bedroom in the low and mid season sleeping up to 6 persons. Prices as tariff minus 25%. Normal changeover is Saturdays but we can be flexible in low and mid season.

Notes: Smoking is not allowed in the bedrooms. We would prefer people to smoke outside. The villa has 5 bedrooms but it can be used as a 3 bedroom villa sleeping up to 6 persons . All the bedrooms have a fan and mosquito nets on the windows. Mosquito nets over the beds can be rented at 7 euros per week each The villa has an open plan living area of 75sq m with archways from kitchen to dining to lounge. There is a safe garden area for little children of the lounge. The pool-area is separated by a hedge, incorporating a large 'Solar Heated ‘pool' with pool cover to extend swimming period . Next to the pool is a covered BBQ kitchen area for alfresco dining and from here is access to the roof terrace with stunning views across the Algarve. There is a wireless internet access for those who wish to bring a laptop.
