The property sits in a large plot with far reaching views over the town of Lagos and the Atlantic. Situated on a private hillside plot this is an old style villa with large grounds and mature walled gardens making it safe for families with children. Very tranquil setting there is no traffic noise and the property is not over looked. Comfortably sleeping 8 people there is 1 double room with ensuite and 1 twin ensuite, 2 twin rooms downstairs with a shared bathroom. Upstairs there is a large bespoke wooden kitchen with a brand new gas oven and hob. Also a microwave and a dishwasher. There is also a Webber BBQ which is situated on the balcony. Full Sky Satellite in the lounge with a 28' TV. There is 5 day a week maid service (not weekends). Security safes in every bedroom. Bed linen and towels included.

Nearest Airport: Faro at 100 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 6.0 Kilometres
Car: necessary
The villa is situated a 10 minute drive from either Lagos or Luz. Lagos is the main town in the area with a wide range of shops and restaurants for both day and night. It has a large number of beaches some rocky inlets others great long stretches of sand. Luz is 10 minutes the other way and is a much smaller fishing village. Some excellent restaurants are situated on the beach here. The beach is sandy and big enough to not get crowded. For the golf lover you are only 5 minutes in a car from Boavista golf, and there are countless other golf courses in the area.

Notes: This is a very secure property with large walled gardens and a large patio/pool area. It is suitable for families although it should be noted that it is built over 3 levels so there area steps inside the house and down to the pool. This should be kept in mind if you have very young children or wheelchair members in your group.

Great villa, spaceous,clean,lovely pool,fab views

We have recently returned from our 10 night stay at Casa Bermudas (Aug 09). I would definately recomend this villa as we found it to be exeptional.
It is set in a great, quiet spot on a hillside and boasts fabulous views across the town and sea.
We shared the villa with another family, there was plenty of room. The kids had a great time in the pool and playing in the gardens.
The villa was clean and very well maintained. The pool and all 3 bathrooms were newly refurbished, the bedrooms were nicely decorated and spotless.
Upon our arrival we recieved a call from the local agent to check that all was satisfactory. I thought this was excellent customer care.
The town of Lagos is a 10 min drive. I found it to be a lovely little town with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from but without being too spoilt.
Lagos beach did not disapoint either, it was clean,sandy and not too crowded.
The only thing I would say is it was very hot, If your not too keen on the heat avoid August!

Good Family Holiday in Spacious Comfy Villa

I stayed in Bermudas in September 2008 with my husband and 2 children (6 and 9) and had a fantastic holiday.
The villa is on top of a hillside on a private estate surrounded by other villas although there is no noise and we rarely saw any of the neighbours.
Its a very large villa possibly too large for any less than 4 people but it has a homely feel and all the facilities listed in the advert where there and working. there is a friendly maid who came 5 days a week and did all the cleaning and bedrooms for us. There is a huge pool for a villa which was great for swimming proper lengths before breakfast and then providing entertainment for the rest of the day. The terrace by the pool is a real sun trap.
I wouldnt recommend this villa with out a car as it is a long walk from anywhere but we found beaches shops and restaurants all within 10 minutes drive. Lagos is a lovely town with a great old city to walk round and eat in.
I would highly recommend this villa for anyone with families and hope to visit again one day.

Good Value Holiday

We stayed at Casa Bermudas in August 2008 and had a great holiday. The large accomodation has everything that you need on holiday and with a large sunny terrace by the pool our friends and children (4 adults 3 under 13s) spent many hours in the pool and by the side of it.
Plenty of restaurants are in the nearby towns of Luz and Lagos and we ate out on several occasions never at the same place twice. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is also a great BBQ and veranda to eat on ate night if you dont go out. Beautiful Algarve beaches are within easy reach with a car.
I would highly recommend this villa to any couple with children or to a group of friends who want a large spacious and private villa for a relaxing break.
