This luxury villa situated in Ponta Da Gaivota, Praia Da Luz and is ideal for the get away from it all holiday. With 4 bedrooms 3 bathrooms (2 en Suite ) and 1 WC the villa comfortably sleeps 8 people. The kitchen is fully fitted and has a dishwasher and microwave. The pool is 8 mts x 4mts accessed from either of the master bedrooms or living room and there are spectacular views of the headland from the roof terrace and balcony. The comfortably furnished lounge/dining room has a log burning stove and Sat. TV. Double patio doors lead onto the terrace — ideal for al fresco dining and enjoying the lovely views. Praia Da Luz is a small village that has retained its charm over the years located on the western Algarve Luz is a small yet thriving beach resort with its arced bay and stunning headland; the Rocha Negra. The Villa is 5 Mins from Lagos and 45mins from Faro Airport. The villa is within easy reach of several golf courses and horse riding schools.

The Western Algarve is a beautiful area of Portugal, the coastline stretches for many miles. Cape St Vincent is the most westerly point in Europe, where the early navigators set sail from the early 1700's. Inland, there are beautiful places to visit, the mountains of Monchique which governs the Algarve's climate is well worth a visit and hosts a mountain spa with magnificent views. Sagres, Silves are well worth a visit due to the spectacular views and gothic architecture. There are many scenic coastal walks along the cliff tops including the cliff walk from the villa to Burgau where you can have lunch in the Navagator restaurant which overlooks the Atlantic ocean with spectacular views.

Excellent location - Great for kids and adults. We stayed at Easter time in 2007 and it was our first time to Portugal. We had a brilliant time, the villa was well maintained and the owner had left us the use of the pool games and toys for the kids to play with. The view from the balcony and roof terrace is fantastic, we enjoyed the evening sun over a bottle of wine and had full vision of the pool at all times. I would definately go back !

Excellent Holiday

Myself, my wife and 2 children stayed in the villa for 10 days in August and we have to say it was one of the best holidays we have had in years. Our children absolutely loved having the pool all to themselves but there were other children in the area who they befriended who joined them on several occasions. We found the villa to be lovely and spacious and it was great to have 2 en suites so no one was fighting over the shower. The views were spectacular and while the children were sleeping we enjoyed a bottle of wine on the balcony which was very romantic. The walk was lovely to Luz and took less than 15 minutes, all amenities were close by. I found the management company extremely helpful and would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a lovely holiday.

We had a fantastic time in this Villa in June of this year. The Villa was spacious, clean and well maintained. The view from the balcony is spectacular and the Villa was equiped with everything including a cot and high chair. We arrived late after our flight was delayed but the management company called to us shortly after we settled, they were extremely professional and helpfull and even called the following day to make sure everything was in order. The Villa has four large bedrooms, two of which have en suites and a very large sitting room. The kitchen was spotless and even had a coffee maker. Luz itself is a short walk from the house with excellent restaurants and pubs. The Villa is exactly as the owner described it and exceded our expectations. We would highly recommend this Villa and will definitely be back.

Nice Villa - Poor management

We stayed there in July 2009 for a week. The management company were extremely unprofessional during our stay with numerous issues concerning us. Air conditioning was not working at all despite being assured by the owner it was. We were then told we would have to pay extra to use it so we asked the management rep to come round the next day to discuss this with us. They failed to appear instead texting us to say it wasn't working and assurring us someone would be repairing it in couple of days to full use. However, no one showed and air conditioning never worked. The villa was clean and nice but the pool area was disgustingly filthy. Again we told the management company who didn't really care so we spent first 3 hours of our holiday scrubbing outside pool area, decking area. It certainly wasn't cleaned in long time. Also it states there is a maid service, do not be fooled by this as we can assure you that there most certainly is none. This was disppointing as villa is in nice location and Luz is fantastic spot to visit. Considering what you pay it isn't value you for money and i'm sure there is better to be got in Luz."
Owner's Response: The guests in question stayed for one week in July. We made every effort to accomadate the guests with their budget as some people had pulled out of their party. As a gesture of goodwill and not to dissapoint the guests a 30% discount was offered and agreed therfore it was not possible to have a mid stay clean at this price. The HVAC system was indeed being repaired at the time and this was explained to the guests by the management company. The system is now fully repaired. The pool area is cleaned weekly by the management company and we have never had a complaint, the pool itself is cleaned 3 times per week in high season. We have taken the comments made seriously, and have discussed the items with the management company.

Excellent Villa - Poor Management

This villa is beautiful and the description is as it states on the website however we received NO Maid service whatsoever during our 7 nights stay but the pool was cleaned. 3 months after our return we are still waiting for the owner to refund our deposit. I have contacted Holiday Rentals and they can only forward our emails to the owner whom again has not yet responded - just so that you are aware when booking this property
