Casa da Sineta is a privately owned villa within an easy stroll of all the facilities of this popular resort. It is rare to find a villa with its own pool in such a central and convenient location in this resort. The villa is on one level with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Large sitting/dining room and separate fitted kitchen. There is an enclosed walled patio facing south which contains the swimming pool, which is solar heated and has a cover. Steps lead up to a roof terrace with peeping sea views. No more than 5, including babies, are ever allowed at this property. The 3rd bedroom is a small single, and will be rented on request and at extra cost as indicated in the price section.

Casa da Sineta is set in the centre of Praia da Luz, just a stones throw from all the facilities, bars, restaurants, beach and supermarket. Car hire is not required. The villa has a walled surround and a shrub filled garden at the front, a car parking area at the back. It is on a private road off Rua Ramalhete, and very easy to find. A great location for families, or anyone who doesn't wish to drive at night after dinner out. Golf, nightlife, beaches, west coast surfing, sailing, watersports and entertainment all easy to access. It is unusual to find a smaller villa with its own decent sized private pool in this position in Luz, and makes it a great location for a holiday.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A security deposit of £100 is payable to the local manger on arrival. This is fully refundable, less any liability, when you return from your holiday. There is a single back bedroom available for rent at an additional cost of £100 per week. This room is only suitable for one extra person, whatever their age. No more than 5, including babies, are allowed at the villa.
  • Reductions are available for smaller parties outside the main summer seasons and occasionally for last minute bookings too. Any reductions are available at the owners discretion and on request.
  • The rent includes all services, including maid, pool man, gardener and the services of an English speaking representative. Water, gas and electricity and household linen are also included. In the winter a limit of £15 per week electricity is included in the rent - use any more than this (which should be ample) and you will have to pay the extra. Logs are also included for the stove in the Low Season and the Winter.

Notes: The pool is solar heated, i.e. no sun, no heat. Solar heated pools are never as warm as those heated using electric or gas pump units. The pool also has a solar cover which can help to retain the heat if used properly, especially overnight. The cover is normally rolled up and put away in the peak season. Long Winter lets are welcome. We request that you don't smoke in the bedrooms at all, and if possible reserve smoking to the exterior terraces rather than inside the house. Thank you.

Do we need to bring towels?: All house linen is provided. You will need to bring your own beach/pool towel only. We do not allow use of the house towels by the pool or on the beach.

Is there a washing machine?: Yes, but you must provide your own washing powder and fabric softener please.

Can we walk to restaurants in the evening?: Yes, the whole village, beach and all facilities are within easy walking distance.

Fab for four!

We have just spent a glorious week here with the weather never dipping below 29c in late October! That, however, was just the icing. The villa was beautiful with spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen with all new appliances and was spotless throughout.

The additional touches of books, magazines and various games just added to our enjoyment.

The bus stop to Lagos is just a couple of minutes away and the entire resort is just a gentle stroll (the cake shop if wonderful!)

The pool was large enough for all four adults to swim at the same time and was clean and inviting.

I would reccommend this villa (as if you hadn't guessed!)
