Casa da Luz is a classic Portuguese style villa in a quiet cul-de-sac ideal for holiday rental for anyone looking for self-catering in this popular resort with a total plot size of just under 600m2. Bungalow with access and internal space for easy wheelchair use if required. External stairway to1st floor terrace with sea views. The pool and surrounding patio area have recently been refurbished and they offer a sun-trap position. Windbreaks help to make the veranda an ideal spot for outdoor meals - barbecues provided. Garden tables and chairs plus sun-loungers and sun-shades. All rooms access onto the spacious central hallway. 2 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 shower room, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine in adjoining laundry room. Large dining and lounge area tastefully decorated with 2 patio doors onto the veranda and pool. Satellite TV, DVD, CD, dining table and chairs and sofas with 1 sofa bed. Off- road parking in the drive.

The villa is located in an estate of large private villas with no evening or night time activities to worry you. The small coastal village of Praia da Luz is a few minutes drive away and here you can find a fine, safe, sandy beach, bars, restaurants and small supermarkets. The larger, thriving coastal town of Lagos is approximately 6 kilometres away to the East and here you will find several large supermarkets and a host of restaurants and bars. The palm lined Avenida links the atmospheric old town and shopping area with the modern Marina from where you can take trips to see dolphins or investigate the coastal inlets. The surrounding areas are well supplied with beaches - the long, magnificent Meia Praia to the East of Lagos and numerous others in Lagos itself and westwards to the surfing beaches of Sagres. 4 spectacular golf courses are within short drives and yet within 30 minutes drive you can be in the panoramic Monchique mountains or watching surfers on the rugged West Coast

I'll never forget this!!!

When we arrived the villa we didn't know what to ecpect. We had just seen the pictures but we didn't know how the location was. But the pictures didn't lie. The house was perfect for us 10 nurses, and it was clean and had everything that we needed to get a perfect holliday.

The lockation was nice and with 10 min walk to the near center and beach.

We had alot of questions before we arrived and the owner of the house really helped us with everything. He arranged for car rental at the airport and gave us a top discription to drive from Faro airport to Casa da Luz. We didn't make one wrong turn:)

I'll really recommend this house to other friend that is interested to get a nice holliday in a Self-catering villa in Portugal.

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette villa. Elle est particulièrement bien adaptée et bien équipée. Tout pour faciliter la vie ! Le propriétaire et ses agents sur place sont efficaces et toujours souriants.

A most enjoyable holiday

This villa was everything that we expected from the advertisement and was clean and well equiped.
The owners and agents were extremely helpful and provided excellent customer service particularly in helping us rent a car. The rooms and hall were spacious and we really liked the fact that we were all on the ground floor.
The villa is in a very nice residential area but a car is neccessary to really enjoy everything. The beach at Praia da Luz is perfect for chldren but there are also several other beaches within a short drive.Although there are many nice restaurants in Luz we preffered to stay in and have barbecues and enjoy the pool. The local supermarket stocked all that we required and their bakery sold great bread and cakes!
I wish that we had had more time to drive a bit further afield to see some of the other sights but with such lovely weather we decided to enjoy the villa in our one week there. Hopefully we can stay for 2 weeks next time.
I would certainly recommend this villa to anybody.

A very relaxing & delightful week at Casa da Luz

We spent 1 week at this large, comfortable and beautifully located villa. There was something for everyone in the party - our children loved their morning at the large swimming pool and afternoon at the Praia da Luz or Lagos beaches, we could prepare nice fish grill & various BBQ outside and using the well adapted kitchen, enjoying the sunset and evening swimming bath, just relax and enjoy the calm and the beautiful Algarve sun. Sitting on the terrace, with music, food and drinks or just reading books was everybody's favourite pastime.
The location is very convenient - quiet, but close to Luz with its shops and restaurants and the beach.

The property was clean, well-maintained and fully equipped, easy to use and to maintain. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We could park 2 cars in the outdoor entrance way.

We made a couple of short and long trips around the region of Lagos like Sagres, Portimão, Albufeira and some small villages with typical things to discover.

Overall, a fantastic place for young and old people, for relaxing and for sightseeing. The owners are extremely nice and helpful, I could see they really wanted us to feel at home there - and we surely did.

Die Villa ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Am Pool sind ausreichend Liegen vorhanden. Es war ein erholsamer Urlaub, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Ort ist ideal für Erholung und Entspannung.
Es gibt im Ort auch genügend einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants.
Also eine tolle Anlage und nur zu empfehlen.
Owner's Response: Besucher unserer villa haben, kommen aus aus ganz Europa einschließlich Deutschland, Spanien, Holland, Luxemburg, der Schweiz und Portugal sowie unsere üblichen britischen kunden und aller nationalitäten haben ihre freude an unserem haus und haben alle sehr zu schätzen den service, die von uns selbst und unsere makler.
Wir werden auch weiterhin bestrebt, dieses hohe niveau und auch wir werden ständig auf der suche zu aktualisieren und zu verbessern, die villa und dienstleistungen, wenn erforderlich.
