Superb Air-conditioned Apartment, Near Resort & Beaches

Central location with pool. Recently completely refurbished is now a first class standard of accommodation, ideally located between the New & Old Towns of Albufeira. A 10/15 minute walk from the beach and 5 minutes from 'The Strip', where there is a fabulous choice of bars, restaurants and shops. If you prefer a quieter more traditional holiday the 'Square' in the Old Town is a comfortable 20-minute walk. Alternatively 4 Euros by Taxi (Taxi rank around the corner) or 2 Euros by the Tourist Train. The apartment itself is on the 2nd floor with views from the 12ft south-facing balcony of the gardens; it also has a panoramic view of the sea in the distance. A grass area with sunbeds to relax on in the sun or shade surrounds the outdoor pool. The air-conditioned apartment is fully equipped for self-catering, with a supermarket around the corner however the many restaurants are a must.

Algarve is a region renowned for its mild and sunny climate, its miles of glorious sandy beaches with their stunning rock formations and its excellent sport facilities. It boasts an average of 3000 hours of sunshine per year. It’s mild all year round with virtually no rain in the summer months. The old town of Albufeira, which perches on the cliff top overlooking the beach, retains a distinctive Moorish character. There are many excellent local restaurants with bars open until late. In the new town 'The Strip' consists of a mile of bars, restaurants and shops, so there is something to suit everyone's taste in Albufeira. The Algarve Shopping with large food store, many restaurants, bowling and cinemas is only a few minutes by car as is Zoomarine, water parks and the many golf courses of Vilamoura.

The apartment also contains a DVD player, a selection of DVDS, English Satellite TV, a radio alarm clock, a Hairdryer, an Iron & Ironing Board. The cot is made by the well known 'Chicco' pictures available at request. The air-conditioning unit is also a heating system for the winter months. The bedroom contains the 1 double bed. The lounge has 2 sofa beds of which there are 2 further beds stored underneath, these pull out and raise up to the same height as the sofas. They can therefore be used as 4 single beds or be pushed together in essence giving 2 double beds. SAFETY is important to us therefore the apartment is fitted with a UK smoke alarm and Fire Blanket. We also provide a basic First Aid Kit. With Children in mind sharp Kitchen utensils are stored in the top draws. Please note: ALL power and water heating to the apartment is via electricity, we DO NOT have a gas boiler. We also ensure all equipment is tested regularly.

Prior to going on holiday we had very helpful assistance from the owner which made us feel confident that we had chosen a good property. The location of the apartment is excellent as it suits all tastes as to what anyone would want from a holiday, easy access to beach, transport, supermarkets, restuarants, night life, coffee shops and cash machines. The apartment is very clean and extremely well organised. It is spacious and comfortable. An absolute bonus is the hot, powerful shower. The swimming pool and surrounding garden was a little haven.
We preferred eating in The Old Town and after a few visits to other restaurants we found a wonderful Portugese restaurant (Prezers) where the food, service and atmosphere was superb. After that we didn't want to go to any other resturant they had everything we wanted.
