New and stunning-bright and spacious, self catering Holiday Home. The Albufeira golf academy (incl. Bar & Restaurant) located next door is run by renowned player Daniel Silva. Brejos is located on a hilltop overlooking the beautiful old White Washed Moorish Village of Albufeira, The new Town has a lively night life scene. There are only 30 units in this New village type development, resembling a typical duplex design. The apartment can accommodate up to 6 people as the living room has 2 couch/beds which can sleep 2 people. It is fully furnished and fully air-conditioned with a very roomy entrance hallway. The living/dining room has a balcony off it. The main bathroom has a full size bath,bidet, WC & wash basin. The smaller bathroom has a small bath, WC & wash basin, both are located off the spacious hallway and are tiled from floor to ceiling. The kitchen is fully fitted with oven/hob, washer/dryer, fridge freezer and microwave. The living room has Sat TV, 2 couches & coffee table.

The old town of Albufeira was destroyed by the earthquake of 1755, much of it was subsequently rebuilt and the present town is a maze of cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. The old town houses an array of renowned restaurants, preparing the regions most delicious fresh seafood and Cataplana (grilled sardines), a local speciality. . Albufeira has access to 20 beaches including quiete Coves. Many have European blue flag accreditation, for cleanliness and safety, the facilities for beach sporting activities are too numerous to mention. For evening entertainment the Strip in the new beach side of the town, has every conceivable bar and club, accounting for all tastes long into the morning. If you are a Golfing fanatic Albufeira has 2 main Golf Resorts, Balacia Golf Village and Clube Albufeira resort both offer facilities for almost any request. Gale and Sao Rafael are 2 Gems along the Albufeira coastline both have hidden beaches, cliff walks and the finest cuisine in the region.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A Damage/Breakage Deposit of €200 is required 2 weeks prior to commencement of Holiday. This is refunded not later than 2 weeks after end of booking period, providing a satisfactory Exit Check of property, is reported and Inventory at end of Holiday.
  • A Booking Deposit of 20% (Minimum 200Euro) is required not later than 1 Week after initial booking request. The Booking Deposit is Non-Refundable. The outstanding balance should be paid not later than 8 weeks prior to commencement of holiday. The rental rates apply to a rental use of 4 Adults or 2 Adults and 2 Children. If the apartment is used to its' maximum rental capacity i.e. 6 people, a weekly €50 supplement per person is charged. Cancellations of less than 2 months notice, will not result in a refund of monies paid, however clients will be offered alternative rental dates as near as possible to the original booking.
  • The remainder of the Holiday Fee, is required not later than 8 weeks prior to start of Holiday. Payment is effected by means of an Electronic International Money Transfer (Swift Transfer). This can be done from the foreign exchange counter of your local bank. This payment normally takes about 4 working days to transfer.

Old and New Towns of Albufeira: The apartment is only a 5 minute drive (4euro Taxi ride) to the old fishing town, new Marina and the new town with all its' lively Pubs and night spots. The Urban Bus Service runs right past the apartment , and at high season it operates every half hour to the old and new Towns. There are 2 beautiful Beaches overlooked by the old white washed Village, with its' traditional Moors appearance, typical of the Algarve. The old cobble-stoned streets wind their way to the centre of the old village, leading to an abundance of very reasonably priced restaurants. The fare served up includes traditional Piri-Piri (spicy chicken) and local fish/shell fish dishes.

Owner's Response: Jose and his wife & 2 Kids spent 1 week in the Apartment.
They did not arrive until very late at night, so the welcome pack went down well. They loved the night view of Albufeira & the Mountains from the Balcony. The secure nature of Brejos for young kids, was also commented on .A comment on the the swimming pools and how well maintained they were was also appreciated. He really appreciated my call the next day to see was all ok and had they settled in.

we had a great time in this apt just a short walk from everything we needed. very nice pool area. the apt is very nice and comfortable. everything we could want was provided. it is also very secure and safe. i would definetly recomend this apt to a friend.

Owner's Response: The apartment is certainly very spacious caters for 6 adults easily and with Air-Con in every room, your comfort is enhanced. THe second Bathroom is very welcome when you have 4 or more people staying.The Apartment is longside the Bus station, The City Bus Stops, Albufeira Golf Academy, Municipal Skate Park and Gypsy Market. The nearest Restaraunt is only 5 Min walk as is the nearest Grocery Shop
The Toilet & Shower facilities compliment the lovely Swimming Pool layout and is very Child friendly and safe.

This apartment certainly lives up to expectation. We spent a most enjoyable week there in April. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and well designed with superb views from the balcony. It is also ideally situated to catch the morning sun on the balcony and the evening sun on the terrace by the front entrance. The pool area is enticing for both the swimmer and sun worshipper with plenty space for both. The apartment is located in a quiet area a short drive or a very feasible brisk walk from the centre of Albufeira. There are also a number of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. We would recommend in particular the Infante Restaurane Bar on Quinta da Bella Vista as the perfect Portuguese “local” for a night cap before returning to the apartment.

Albufeira is a definite recommendation for all age categories with plenty of both day and night time activity. For those seeking solitude and peace, there are numerous deserted beaches, with the mountains but a short drive. It is also ideally located for fans of motor racing as it is a 40 minute drive to the city of Portimao home to the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve. This is one of the most modern and multi-functional race circuits in the world, where it is planned to hold a wide range of activities and sports, commercial and leisure events. . We would consider that this apartment in Quinta dos Brejos is the perfect spot to avail of all the many attractions in Albuferia ……and we can’t wait to go back!
Owner's Response: The view from the balcony at night is beautiful and peacefull, you can see for miles. Certainly Air-Conditioning in all rooms is very welcome from May onwards. The fully fitted kitchen would certainly tempt you to try your cullinary skills and the the location of a very well stocked reasonably priced Lidl store, only 5 Minutes drive away, is a bonus. I myself, love the Gypsy Market which is only 5 minute walk from the Apartment, located at the Municipal Bus Station, markets are held on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month.

My opinion of this apartment

This two bed two bathroom apartment is very spacious, very clean and beautifully finished. The layout is very practical, and the apartment is very bright and cheerful. I enjoyed having breakfast on the sundrenched balcony each morning and ending the evening in the same spot looking out over the countryside and the red toppped rooves of the houses.
The apartment was exactly as good as was advertised.
It is five minutes drive from the nearest beaches and fifteen minutes walk from the old town and the strip. As i did not have a car I found the bus station nearby approximately 5 minutes walk which I used on many occasions. There is also a local market next to the bus station and as luck would have I came across it and had a great time bargaining with the locals. I believe this market is on the first and third Tuesday of each month and well worth a visit. It was very easy to access other areas for example Villamoura and the Algarve Shopping from the local bus station.
There are many very good restaurants in both the old town and the strip offering very good value. I enjoyed the Pampas restaurant in the old town and El Rancho on the strip.
My favourit beach was Santa Eulalia and Fisherman's beach in the old town.
Taxis are readily available at an average cost of 4euro.
The Line Azul or Line Verde buses both travel to the old and new town in different directions.
I would certainly recommend this beautiful apartment both for relaxation, travelling and proximity to all the local amenities.
