Luxurious three bedroom apartment overlooking pool set in immaculate gardens in quiet location. This private select complex of just 32 apartments has panoramic views and is just five minutes walk from the traditional fishing village of Alvor, with its lovely harbour and vast array of bars and restaurants. The magnificent beach is only a five minute walk from the village centre. The spacious, air conditioned accommodation is beautifully furnished and comprises lounge with double sofa bed surround sound TV and DVD/CD player with balcony overlooking pool and magnificent views. The kitchen diner is fully equipped with fridge freezer, washing machine, dish washer and microwave. The dining room is in a beautiful bay window and has seating for six. There are two double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room, a twin bedroom, two with balconies and family bathroom with shower. This ground floor accommodation is ideal for families and satellite TV picks up BBC, ITV, music, Sky news and movies.

Alvor is a traditional Portuguese fishing village with harbour, 2km beach with secluded coves and where you'll find beach bars and restaurants. Stroll along the harbour to find more bars and open air fish restaurants, whilst watching the fishermen bring in the catch of the day. There are facilities for tennis, wind surfing and golfers are well catered for with the local Alto golf club and luxury Penina Championship Golf Course. The village with its quaint church offers a good selection of shops open till midnight in high season and street entertainment, whilst retaining its natural charm. Even out of season there are still ample facilities available. The nearby resorts of Lagos and Praia da Rocha are just a few minutes drive away, or a cheap taxi ride, as is the international marina of Portimao. Enjoy a trip to the spectacular views from the Monchique Mountains, or a day's shopping at the Algarve shopping centre. For the kids, there are numerous water theme parks.

What a fabulous apartment. Great location and vista, spacious, immaculate and with everything we needed during our 18 day relaxing and stress free stay in the lovely town of Alvor. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the pool a delight on those HOT September days (and you can't ever say that in Glasgow!). The town has a beautiful (and very long beach), loads of good restaurants and we'll definitely be visiting again.
