Alvor is a small fishing village 5 kms west of Portimão and only 40 minutes from Faro airport. A Deposit of 30% is required at time of Booking to Confirm Reservation, with the balance of 70% to be paid 8 weeks before arrival, unless by prior agreement. Payment is by cheque / transfer directly to our bank account.

Check In is on Saturdays after 15.00 hrs on Arrival Day, and Check Out is by 12.00 hrs on Departure Day.
We reserve the right to Refuse any Reservation requests at our own discretion.

The Algarve & Alvor:
The Algarve has a temperature climate almost all year round and boasts about 300 days of sunshine. Tourist season extends from March to October and it only really quietens down in winter. The wonderful sandy beaches of the Algarve are unspoilt and amongst the best in the world. Explore the majestic Sierra de Monchique or the rugged beauty of the western tip of the Algarve. Water sports such as swimming, snorkelling and big game fishing are popular along this coast when exploring the caves and grottos. Water parks and theme parks are also on hand for the children.
Local food:
The local food just has to be tried, with fresh fish straight from the mornings catch. Most restaurants have charcoal grills, and producing some of the best food of the region. With local wines and mouth watering steaks, what more can you ask for !
Other Activities deep sea fishing, boat cruises, waterparks, aeroplane leisure flights, and a top quality Day Spa is right near the apartment.
Golf Information:
Some of the best Golf Courses in the Algarve are starting from within 3 kms of Alvor :- The 'Penina' Course is Sir Henry Cotton´s masterpiece, and the 'Alto Golf' Course also of the same architect boasts the longest par 5 in Europe. Many other great Golf Courses are within easy reach of Alvor, with the A22 reaching across the Algarve.

Vila da Praia, Alvor is an excellent base from which to explore the Algarve coast or have a relaxing beach and poolside holiday.
This apartment is clean and modern with a great balcony overlooking the pool.The fantastic Alvor beach is only a gentle stroll away. Some of the soft furnishings and furniture in the apartment could do with an update but this is only a minor quibble. The Kitchin is well equipped but there are so many great places to eat just a few minutes walk away.
Communication with the owners was excellent and everything was arranged exactly as promised.
We have already booked a return visit.
