Alvor holiday apartment

This year saw us return to Alvor for the 3rd time, although we have always stayed at the Dunas Do Alvor complex this was by far the most enjoyable year due to the fantastic accomodation. The apartment was spacious, spotless, modern and included all the extras you could wish for. The living area is bright and well equipped with large telly, choice of cable channels, DVD and air conditioning (which was much appreciated most days after spending the day by the pool). The roof top terrace is massive and great for hanging up washing, sunbathing or admiring the views. The facilities within the complex include large pool and kiddies pool with plenty of sun beds and large grass area if that is what you prefer. The complex is family orientated with bars and cafes, the best of which is the Cactos II where Mark and Ally will entertain and look after you while you are there. Alvor is a great location for a holiday, the apartment is only a five minute walk from the most fabulous beach you can imagine and five minutes walk from the village centre where you can choose from dozens of reasonably priced restaurants, the fish restaurants by the harbour are amazing. This was our first time using a private rental apartment and the service we received was great, we were picked up at the airport and had a number to call if we had any problems (which we didnt). We will definately return next year.
