Private conduminium apartment in Alvor

Just had a super week at this apartment. Great location on the complex and very quiet if you like your peace. Well equipped and great service from both the owners (Lena and Gil) and from the taxi transfer arranged through them.

The apartment is a great location, 10 minutes from the beach and similar from the village - walking time!

I would recommend this apartment and we'll certainly be back in the future - we hope!

We have just returned from a wonderful time at the apartment in Alvor. We have four children and this was perhaps our best family holiday ever! The apartment was amazing. The photographs give you a good indication of what it is like but it exceeded our expectations. We were picked up by the ‘friendly taxi driver’ who was very careful to make sure that he had the correct car seats for our children. We paid him for the return journey on arrival (150 Euros) and he was very punctual. A brilliant service. Lena and Gil were both waiting for us outside the complex and showed us round. They really care about making the holiday special. The balcony surrounds the apartment and has been made safe for children. The pool was very clean and the grounds are meticulously cared for. We enjoyed short walks to the beach (10 mins max with our four children in tow!)

The temperature was around 30 degrees and we only saw a cloud on our last day. A light breeze came up every evening which was refreshing – but there is air con in the apartment if needed. The black out blinds and shutters were great for a good night sleep too.

We had a nice day out in Portimao. It cost us 10 Euros for us all to get there on the little mini busses that leave Alvor very regularly. We had amazing sundaes at an Italian restaurant facing the harbour by the bus stop. The children loved these! The Albar in Alvor was a great place to eat too. One word of warning though – avoid shopping in the SuperU near the apartment – it caters for the English but is very pricey. There is a ‘Pingo Doce’ up the hill about 10 mins walk from the apartment. This was similar in price to Asda. The children discovered ‘Bongo juice’ – a must for all ! The Portuguese wine was great too – and very cheap!

Wonderful apartment - just as description, with everything you need to enjoy your stay . There wasn't anything that we needed that wasn't there.
Great location near the beach, shops, taxi rank and bus service all within 5 min walk.
Complex was quiet and never any need to rush out for sun loungers!!
Owners were great, nothing too much trouble - great communication from start to finish.
We would definitely recommend to this place - perfect for a truly relaxing holiday.
